I've just watched it. And i watched the show from the beginning, and trying to pick out who in the audience would make such a transphobic comment, and i'm ashamed to say that i got it totally wrong. I picked the older white lady in the back row, thinking, yes, she looks like the transphobic person. I was shocked when i saw who it actually was. turns out it was a young(ish) black woman. Proves you can't assume anything. I actually feel guilty for thinking it was gonna be the older white lady.

It just proves that prejudice is BS.

I agree that the audience and Emma responded appropriately, I hope that woman isn't allowed back on BOTS.

If the woman who made the comment had found herself on the end of a racist comment, she'd have been jumping up and down with rage.

Luke A has probably been through all the sh1t in the world and heard it all at least twice. Had he been in the studio he probably would have handled the comment with the dignity he obviously has to have come this far. And if people want to make iffy comments about him, let's face it, it says far more about them than it says about Luke.

I don't think so it was pretty instant, she was a bit taken aback is all.

To be fair to Emma, I think she took a beat to respond because of the shock of what the woman said. Emma did seem quite disgusted with the comment.

I agree that the woman should have been removed from the audience. I was shocked when it came back from the break and she was still there.

the facts are luke was born a woman and is still a woman in his mind he feels he is a man and wants to be know as a man.
im not against transexuals and people can live how they choose but it dont matter how opened minded you are the facts are the facts.

What's the problem with accepting he's a man though, he feels he has always been one, he's had/is having surgery to that effect and he's only ever been presented to us as male, there's no reason to consider him otherwise
