Also in NYC
Mayor Mike Bloomberg (on Radio today)
has asked the President and Romney
to tell us what they want on Gun Laws Updates.
But no one would dare touch that Hot Topic.

Madness, how many times do things like this keep happening in America? Something needs to be done to try and prevent it.

I feel sorry for all the victims including those who are dead and their families:(.

Doogle 20-07-2012 05:46 PM

This upset me a lot. It's bad enough as it is but then reading her twitter as well is just heartbreaking.

A Loner
Not doing well.

And at that Cinema many were dressed like Batman
so he looked normal until he started shooting.

He needs to be put to Death.
no other way.

Its Every Day Life In Gunland America.

are you in a village
far away from a City?

arista 20-07-2012 06:11 PM

Live with the Police Chief (SkyNewsHD)
he parked outside the back door.

So he got in via the back fire exit.
He chucked 2 Smoke Devices in
then started shooting

The Cinema was Sold Out
so he had to go in via the Fire Exit.

59 wounded total

billy123 20-07-2012 06:12 PM

I lived in London for 9 years and I read a lot of news. I do live in a small village now with a city nowhere nearby but I'm not totally oblivious to the things that happen in the world.

I know it's very common, but that doesn't make it any less upsetting.

This is terribly sad, but like others have pointed out in here, the solution to this is staring America blue in the face. It really does astound me at how backward they can be sometimes, given how archaic the 2nd Amendment is.

Official confirms James Holmes did have red or orange hair when he was arrested and told police he was the joker.#Aurora

King Gizzard 21-07-2012 12:51 AM

That picture is his college picture apparently, not his mugshot

MTVN 21-07-2012 01:03 AM

Don't think it's as simple as increase gun control and suddenly that's the problem solved, there's a good article on it on the BBC site atm http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-18877454

Warners in Paris stopped the Film

Toronto? but i thought they had strict gun control laws in Canada, so surely it could never happen there right?

No it's not. These events are incredibly rare, and they happen everywhere, not just America, in fact America is one of the safest and least violent countries in the entire world.

This is NOT an American phenomenon. Ask Norway.

Indy 21-07-2012 07:36 AM

There are two tragedies here - the first is the losses of the dead and wounded. The second is the media and the uneducated sensationalizing it into something it's not.
