I find it hilarious, tbh, that people are so desperate to back her up they'll dismiss any opinion they disagree with as a systematic, baseless witch hunt. Being a cheerleader for is no less pathetic than being a cheerleader against, but there's no reason to insist everyone must fall in one group or the other if they ever offer an opinion. The vast majority are neither deanabots nor deanahaters. Why is so much effort put into shoehorning EVERYONE into one camp or the other?

It's not like Deana's the only one who has a lot of her actions talked about, Conor can't even sing two lines of "Our House" or be shown pulling a bit of a face for a split second without a new thread being made on how "intimidating" or horrible he is

i love the solider thing. adam saying well we lost the pillow fight but the war continues and luke a saluting was funny only good part of the whole show.
lauren was lost in action a few have gone awol they need to replenish ranks lol and make sara a private.

Have you seen her clip of the film the ring. many other parts. she don't go around screaming. in spite of how Connor has being treating her. she still found a way to get along with him. others pick on her. she will say it how it is like with Luke s etc. she is pretty. and not over powering. and on and on..

It's just an outsiders joke as it is very much 'us and them' in the house, I wouldn't try to read too much into it.
I think it was lydia who put the idea of it being a battle with her tactical manoever debates, suggesting infiltrating the insiders camp and such.

Congratulations! You've hit the nail on the head with this post. There's nothing worth praising Deana the way she's being praised. She's a boring housemate who's had something bad said about her by one of the most disliked contestants, Conor.

A lot of the evictees have said she's boring and wouldn't approach them in the first couple of weeks. She got herself isolated. I agree the words from Conor are totally exaggerated and I am by no means his biggest fan. But I think people just feel sorry for her and support her for it. Given a different season with different housemates, she probably wouldn't be THIS liked. Even without Conor she'd probably not be as popular.

Deana was topping the 'who's your fave' poll on DS waaaay before the Conor rant. How she dealt with Arron drew in a lot of support too.

It's the other way round. Conor was ignored by viewers until his epilator rape rap. Without that he'd barely be mentioned.

As a Deana fan that wants her to win.... I find some of you fellow Deana fans hilarious. Getting your knickers in a bunch over someone judging this little army thing.
No one has issues bashing on LukeS, calling Ashleigh vile, criticizing Becky's weight or calling Caroline a monster. But wooooah if it's Deana... uh ugh *wag the finger and shake the head*

It's endearing cause it's Deana, if the insiders were talking about their 'army' surviving against the outsiders you be calling them idiots and claim it was playing up for the cameras (which is exactly what the outsiders are doing). They had their nice little party day working together as a house and go right back to the 'the public sees what they are doing on the outside; we are an army' stuff following it.

However, it's more entertaining when they joke around, since they laugh together and have fun and those moments don't need to target someone with bitching... so I do enjoy it (though it is just game play talk).

Im no deana fan but its not so much the not being a fan that bothers people on here its just the constant mindless attacks that are getting peoples backs up.
can we not have a "deana is a twat" thread rather than 3/4 of a page full of silly nearly identical threads attacking her every word made by the same 3 or 4 members? that is what is getting on peoples tits.
