there is an old saying

a fool and his money are soon parted

he is a fool so work the rest out for yourself

smeagol 04-08-2012 02:32 PM

hmm
conor winning that amount of cash leaves the ending now a anti climax unless they suddenly give the proper winner 100k still.
he may not have the title but conor has basically won the show. as he gets the same amount of cash and can sun his self all week and party while they all have to fight it out and be bored senceless just to recieve the same or nothing. they wil get 10 mins on bbots etc then forgotton. he has a week. its very wrong but whos the looser.?
total p take if you ask me. how that scum can get that. 25k wouldnt be so bad but 50k the same as winner is just another kick in the goolies to everything and everyone thats decent.
it makes winning the show now meaningles to a certian extent. unless they up the cash which i hope they do.

Some very odd logic there tbh. But nothing less than expected, especially the deana bit at the end

Congrats to him for getting 50k though, he would have been stupid not to press the button

'his rant against Deana is dealt with and if brought up again by anyone will seem like sour grapes'

Dont really understand this bit either. Unless it was fully spoken about in his interview (which I havent seen yet, I will admit) but I sincerely doubt it was.

Big brother is a game. The aim of the is to be the last on in the house. As we can all see Conor is not in the house and there's more housemates.

Brian did ask him about it in the interview, think it was mentioned on BOTS too but I'm only catching up with that now

He was grilled/asked by both brian and emma. He said sorry, apologised and gave his reasons which were both plausible and accepted and they moved on, like we should, blimey this happened 2 months ago and Deanas supporters cant let it go, how desparate are they. They have gone from logical discussion to poking fun and baiting. How the mods are missing it I dont know.

I noticed that. I agree with you. It does feel like baiting and it's wrong! :nono:

People hate him and 50k is not big dog money.

We're not missing anything, you are just going to have to expect people challenging your opinion I'm afraid. There's an ignore function; use it.

but why do they need to bring up something that happened two months ago? He has apologized and hasn't done anything like it again.

Good luck to him and his plans.

Maybe I shouldnt mention this given the fact that I have my own personal hater poster ready to slag me off, but way back in 1979 I won my first big golf tournament, it was the first win of my pro career over 10k and I can tell you it made a big difference to me and my family. It was a 35k (us dollar) win and it got me a new motor home which took me round tourneys for no cost at all and was the start of 5 great years. It all depends on how he uses it and I think his family and GF might help him there.

armand.kay 04-08-2012 03:08 PM

Lol on bbau they would give some evicted housemates prizes like holidays or cars when they get evicted does that mean they are also winners.

MrWong 04-08-2012 03:13 PM

If the thread title was changed to 'Conor is the biggest twat of the series' I would agree.

Kizzy 04-08-2012 03:15 PM

Conor is the biggest something....Its not winner though :)

He gets out early with 50k, he gets a full week of BBBOTS, he gets to eat, sleep and watch the olympics, he gets real nice warm feelings and congrats all round for his win, his rant against Deana is dealt with and if brought up again by anyone will seem like sour grapes, his explanation was plausible, he gets a deposit on his future with his lovely GF, he dosent need to live in a pigstye with muppets for 10 more days, he dosent need to do any more silly boring and useless tasks, he gets to watch BB probably split the prize money yet again, he also might land a mag deal in the time before the final and to close, he has slain his nemesis without opening his mouth, she wont recover from this anytime soon.

Bearing in mind that Deana hasnt and maybe wont win and she is not only loosing in playing odds, she is slipping in popularity as well, can only mean her journey is not yet over nor is she a foregone conclussion.

As I said before, Conor beats her hands down. FACT.

Good post , I completely agree Conor has managed to achieve the best possible outcome that he could. Be honest he was never going to win up against all the outsiders in the final. Also his rant at Deana would have ensured that BB would have not given him the most favourable edit in the HL shows.

He got his chance to win some Big Money and poss earn more in Mags/interviews due to his early exit.

A lot of posts are saying he didn't win BB so he will not be remembered as a Winner !!. Well who really cares, as I said before he was never going to win and would have spent another 11 days in the House and then come out with nothing.

You do the Math.......!!!!

Sam I'm happy for your win, I'm sure it took a lot of hard work. But Conor actions are nothing to be proud of, they did not take hard work nor any real skill.

mkdfan 04-08-2012 03:17 PM

He will never have the title of winner so.. yea, not quite.
