At :28 seconds when they zoom out and show the people sitting around the couch, please look at Luke S. Blow up to full screen if you have to. Thanks for playing, friend.

Sorry, but that isn't evidence of anything. There is another conversation going on and he seems to be listening to that. At that particular point he is smiling while looking at Conor, who was obviously attracting attention. He could be smiling at anything - Conor, or something someone else has said. We can't know - so unless you have solid proof, it would be best not to make statements as fact.

Well she actually switched to the golden ticket thing, which is the same theme but still funny. She is being entertaining and cringe worthy, there has not nearly been enough cringe worthy moments this season. The good characters all left early and we were left with constant bitching, I would rather have a few HM's riling the others up then more boring stasis.

I want to see them having fun, not plotting and scheming. :( It's the final week! Tonight should be good . There's the Museum task. :amazed:

But they are having fun now not plotting and scheming, that is the point I just made. The more recent evictions have lifted a weight off the house. Adam and LukeA had a fun pillow fight, the Scott task was pretty amusing, and a few other fun events happened last night. The only major bitching now is coming from Ash and no one else really cares to join in.

Deana acting all arrogant is spoiling things for me to be honest. Last night show made me feel very uncomfortable.

Luke S is sat straight across from Conor, looking at him and Conor is 'singing' loudly. Look at :09 seconds where Luke S visibly laughs after Conor finishes the part about where he's going to shove the epilator. Yes I'm sure he was laughing about something else. :pat:

It was funny yesterday, but then it went too far. She said sorry to him, then kept making fun of him. Not nice at all.

I think she's way beyond doing anything for the public anymore.

Girls doing it for herself. She's been surpressed for too many weeks and can now let it all out.

She has not been supressed!!!... She argued with Arron...with Sara...she told Luke S his relationship was fake (albeit she had to own up to the accusation to his face and not by choice) she argued with shievonne etc...thats not someone being supressed.
Like I said now with the nastier characters gone she feels in control. With those spiteful characters in the house Deana looked like a saint....now with them gone she is now exposed...putting people down and taunting them. She even recognises he behaviour apologises and does it again....who does that remind you of...CAROLINE...the worst of the bunch...

That's a good point. She's just as bad as Caroline.

Won't work though, Deana has too much support. The only person in there who truly deserves to win, bar Luke A possibly.

Yep! So far we've had..
Deana has the same manager as Shilpa :joker:
Deana's a gang member and that's why she was expelled. :joker:
Deana was expelled from 4 different schools. :joker:
Deana's losing alot of support. :joker:

All this with not one jot of proof. Just a load of bitter hot air. :bored:

Pfft!

The hate is strong in this one. Even in the face of evidence.

Seriously, he laughs. It's right there on the clip. He thinks sticking an epilator up her is funny.

Again, I disagree.

She defended herself against Aaron who constantly singled her out during tasks. Funny how Caroline put zero effort into the same tasks, yet absolutely nothing was said to her about it isn't it.

WTF? Argued with Sara .....? How does anyone argue with Sara? She bites at people when they question or disagree with her and then she makes absolutely no sense when people try to sort things out. If you're talking about the politics issue then Deana simply asked her a question about what she had been banging on about for the last 30 minutes. Sara also has a very narrow minded view of believing others gossip over finding out the truth for herself so it's her own fault she gets into disagreements or arguments she has no chance of winning!

So what if she had to wait for Luke S to come up to her before she told him to his face his relationship was fake. EVERY single HM in there believed it was fake yet only she had the actual balls to tell him the truth. That makes her the bad person... yeah ok!

And Shievonne.... the one who lost it (completely) as soon as she heard another HM speak the truth about her and was up for eviction. You seem to have another memory problem. Shievonne attacked Deana because she believed Deana, and only Deana, was responsible for putting her up for eviction. Never mind the fact that she had to have more than one nomination or the fact that if it hadn't been for her pals Caroline, Ashleigh and Conor discussing who to nominate and therefore losing the ability to nom that week, she may not have been up anyway. But yes, let's call Deana the big bad trouble maker for defending herself when she was constantly attacked by Shievonne who again spoke the biggest lot of **** during that argument.

I will say it again. In certain ways she was surpressed. She was unable to be her real self as she was often victimised and ostracised by what was known as the "insiders".

Look as I've said many times she no saint but I do understand why she is letting lose now that she has no fear of being ganged up on by the brat pack.

I don't think Deana was suppressed at all. She has always stuck up for herself. And why wouldn't she? It's only fair. I only have a problem with it when she goes too far, like last night.

However, other than Conor's vile epilator rant, no other bit of "nastiness" has brought about such rage as a comment about a golden ticket.

Deana was made to feel like an outsider way before the term "Outsiders" was even used to describe that group of housemates. She felt alone in the house, constantly being berated, used, and even back-stabbed by the majority of vile housemates who she alone could not say anything against as she would be throwing herself to the dogs who would gang up on her. Now that the house is more balanced, she feels that she could finally speak her feelings on an equal ground and is letting out pent-up emotions. This does not make her any less deserving of a winner.

Luke S knows that Deana has repeatedly been saved by the public even topping the votes. Thus, he avoids responding to her comments for fear that he will ruin his chances of winning. Now that he can't live vicariously through the vile comments of Conor or Becky, his only defense mechanism is to play the victim card as he sees this as the least confrontational way to respond to Deana and hopefully gain more votes in the process.

Meh, I don't buy this whole outsider thing totally. There must be a reason a lot of them don't like her and she kept getting put up. They must see something we don't, I have a feeling it's probably the attitude she has displayed over the last few days.

Aaron was put up week after week by HM's last year so was clearly not a well liked HM in the house but loved on the outside.

So moot point really.

halfacrown 08-08-2012 03:19 PM

One of the great virtues of Deana is that she is prepared to confront people to their faces and she's always done it, I sometimes feel there's been too much holding back by Luke A (who wants to be loved) and Adam (who’s is a little bit too keen to win). Deana is making the show; the reason she is riling Luke is that he's been trying to boss a majority group in the house that has been against her from the start.

It's crazy how people are trying to pretend she's nasty and 'going to far', considering the vile people she's been up against. More power to her, because Deana is showing herself to be the most honest and direct one in the house.
