Entertainment is subjective and so this is the likely reason some do not answer. People aren't looking to get shot down on a debate based on their personal view.
Also it comes across as a demand that will be scrutinised and criticised to the endth degree...... maybe?
In my humble opinion Deana was entertaining because she wasn't the wall flower that she could of stereotypically been mistaken for.
She loved to dance and could dance successfully and entertainingly to the tune.
Deana stood up for her self. Firstly to Arron and others followed. Highly entertaining to see her no sh^t attitude.
She was prepared to be independent and hang on to her views and values in discussion highly entertaining.
She teased Luke S relentlessly about losing out to his "friend" something a lot of us would have like to do she did it for us. Very entertaining.
She's glamorous particularly on her many eviction nights and the list of entertaining likeable characteristics and behaviour goes on.
If they didn't get it, they didn't get it.

Kate cried too much and was looking to Spencer Johnny and PJ to 'save and protect her' when Alex was horrid to her. Strong women NEVER look to men to protect and help them. They take the men on themselves. Kate was a less annoying less needy and girlie version of fake tomboy Lauren

Kate was mates with the lads, she didnt flirt, she was lovely, and had class stamped all over her ,one of the best winners ever IMO

I am not disputing whether she was a good winner, she was lovely and I have no big issues with her win at all. However, she was not strong but quite weak. She ALWAYS went to PJ, Spencer and Johnny for protection against Alex and Jade. And only began to stick up for her self when Spencer and PJ left and Johnny stopped helping her so overtly as he began to think about winning, needed a strong cheeky chappy persona after rows with Sandy and Alex and didn't want to get into more fights so stopped defending her.

Yes i suppose thats right really, I was never a fan of Johnny !! :nono:

I've said this time and time again, the public doesn't like strong, independent women - they view them as being a 'bitch'. Yet, if a guy acts like that, he's a 'legend'. The public seems to only love vulnerable, submissive, or inoffensive women.

alex_front2 14-08-2012 07:07 PM

But I did like Kate, but she wasn't really strong. Funny. Yes. Tomboyish (compared to Lauren, hell yea). Worthy winner, yep. Strong? Nah!

Re Johnny - he was so calculating. He really stopped defending and protecting Kate to try and win, and regain his loveable funtime frankie persona, so transparent. Hated him.

Kate is actually one of my few favourite winners.

She was so amazing, I wish I could have watched her on the live-feed tbh.

She always stood up for herself and spoke her opinion whenever she felt like it. She challenged people and didn't back down. We saw this throughout the entire series with her confrontations with Conor, Arron, Ashleigh, Shievonne, Luke S, and Sara. She wasn't submissive to anyone in the house, she was dominant. She was never afraid to speak her mind and she didn't seek approval of others. Of course she's a strong women.

She backstabbed, and never confronted ANYONE ,even though some of you claim she confronted Luke S,She never did, HE confronted HER after he found out she had been backstabbing

Yes. So strong that she could not admit she had burnt her toast. Stupidly saying, the toaster over and over.
Not strong enough to wash up either.

youre mistaking the word strong for ignorant , petty , vindictive and argumentative....those housemates always lose regardless of being men or women
which is what these housemates were....

a strong female HAS won kate bb2 .... nadia .....sophie...rachel rice...josie...all strong in their own ways...same with shilpa and chantelle...strong women but basically decent people

Raph 14-08-2012 10:29 PM

I think Rachel was a strong female and she won! :)

oh what complete and utter rubbish

:nono:

kate lasted the 3 months , stood up to jade and others behaving like idiots, got drunk, danced, laughed, got involved in every task, spoke her mind , she was a multi faceted winner, everyone liked her and she also went to have continued success.....she was one of the strongeest conestants bb has ever had, male or female.....you simply dont understand what the word strong means

is strong the person who choses his battles and beats everyone or is strong the person who fights everyone and loses ? the latter person is a loser who looks for petty conflict and thinks that makes the person look strong....its petty its short term and its pathetically weak

I am not disputing whether kate waa likeable or deserving of winning i am saying kate was weak. Kate initially struggled to stick up for herself and did look to.spencer to protect her against alex - this intensified 2 guys rivalry until they were nommed in famous head to head which spencer.lost. girls who need a man to protect them are weak imo. but a nice girl all the same.

Nadia first strong woman to win.
