Men like personality. Yea right?! Like Georgia Salpa you mean!! What men mean by personality is 'a girl who will laugh at my jokes'. If a woman displays any attempt at daring to be funnier wittier more charismatic than a guy then he gets upset. Big time! :joker:

You've missed my point. I think Cheryl Cole is good looking - She certainly isnt ugly - but not attractive to me. Good looks and attraction should be separated IMO. I can think someone is good looking doesnt mean I fancy them. Georgia Salpa is another example. Good looking but not for me. Would I turn her down? No, but she's not my fave by a long way.

I dont understand your 2nd paragraph. Its not true of me or of many men. Funny woman are very attractive to me. I adore Tina Fey but if she wasnt so funny i dont think I'd find her so attractive.

An honest answer.

the truth 20-08-2012 03:14 PM

the women i know tend to be attracted to hands mouth eyes bum, chest and shoulders....they like blokes to have a laugh with , some go for funny guys, many dont.
often ive found they find regular looking blokes sexy, the types who do hard labour but dont have time for the gym....women rarely say what they really like though, unless theyre showing off to a group of other women and thats all lies anyway....not sure why women are so repressed about expressing what they like, they seem to be controlled in their expression by the mainstream media and the peer pressure from other women....

the truth 20-08-2012 03:15 PM

so all the women on here fancy jimmy carr and frankie boyle?

I used Brad as an example. So would you turn down Don Draper if it was a sure thing and you could guarantee no one EVER found out about it?

I agree Kazanne... I have the total hits for Boris Johnson.. he's not a superhunk at all but for me, there's something sexy about him.

I dont agree the truth, maybe women back then, but women now have no problem expressing themselves. Ive been completely honest, I like tall, thin dark haired guys (hate blonds, dunno why) with big hands and prominent longish noses. Ive always been attracted to that, but my husband doesnt fit that exactly LOL. Power, ambition and money are all appealing, sexy and preffered qualities but not a must. Meaning that I wouldnt disqualify a guy if he wasnt rich.

I hope so....it seems most women go from not expressing themselves at all, to the other extreme of being bitchy and ott to impress their friends r due to peer pressure....I dont want to hear people say they give honest truthful opinions , I just want them to give honest truthful opinions....theres a big difference

Beauty fades, dumb is forever. Give me a guy I can talk to, who has rational opinions, wit and intellect rather than some himbo who has nothing between his ears and loves himself more than he does you. I find stupidity and ignorance a massive turn off, no matter how good looking a guy is.

Exactly how I feel Angus :)

I find it odd when men say they know what women are thinking, especially when it's a broad generalization.

the only ones I tend to believe in that case are scientists, and that's only when they are directly interpreting data.

sounds good in theory but do you and other women back it up in reality?
we can all say things to make us sound good, but do we back it up?
I know many women who say all these moral sounding things who always end up with a total ratbag? whats that all about?

loads of women I know talk tough but in the end, they get their opinions from other women and dont make their own decisions.

men dont say that. women always say that about men. women think men talk and think sex all day, which is a total lie. women talk far more about their intimate sex than any men ever would. men would literally rather talk about anything. they do it, its private and theyd rather talk about movies, music, politics, comedy ,sport, business etc etc etc

you make it sound like british men didnt allow women an opinion years ago. another lie. women have always controlled the household, always held strong opinions and usually controlled the purse strings when the man used to bring it home and share it with the family. thats the UK , not sure about the rest of the world mind. if youre on about the right to vote and draggging that up as female oppression, well all working class people men and women werent allowed the vote 100 years ago.

it wasnt men v women it was rich v poor. women have misunderstood the history surrounding this and used it as a way to hate men. the fact it is was financial and social oppression of all working class people. young men were dying of tb down mines and being killed in their millions in hopeless mindless wars. working class en have taken it up the backside since humanity first walked the earth
