Now we know this could polarise the whole house and bring out all the simmering greivances. But it would be great to watch especially if nearly all the HM rounded on Julie, I think it would require an act of bravery to do this by Coleen but lets face it what has she got to lose. she's been very quiet the whole show, not really challenging anyone face to face. Worst case she says nothing and gets quietly evicted or she stands up and confronts the hag and who knows it could turn the whole show around and give Coleen a lot more airtime and the final week would be fun to watch....!!! |

She hated the comment ''pot stirrer'' being made to her. A very appropriate term to use for her though. Also as you say the dramatics everytime she is u for eviction, she cares little for others she nominates for it though. She has from the first days looked the most miserable in the house, time she went home to an equally miserable Sister Linda. |

How long has she been out of the entertainment industry?( One role only) Julie hasn't worked for years |
I heard a rumour that Julie was chucked out of The street because she made increasingly ridiculous demands, like insisting that her entourage had VIP dressing rooms.

help colleen by tossing her out
queen julie to win |
I hope I never see or hear of Linda Nolan again on TV,or for that matter Coleen also Julie hasn't been unemployed for 17 years, in 1999 she was again Bet Lynch in Corrie, she was also back again for storylines in 2002 and 2003.
Her character has never been killed off in Corrie, or even considered to be to all knowledge, and I can see a return of sorts for her if she wants it, after CBB should she win or come 2nd definitely. |

Julie Goodyear has boldly ruled out a
return to her Coronation Street role as Bet Lynch. Goodyear, who is currently in the Celebrity Big Brother house , has long been linked with a comeback. Speaking to the latest OK! magazine, the actress stated: "Would I go back? No." © Channel 5 © ITV The 70-year-old explained that the soap, which films nearly two hours of material every week, would be too physically gruelling. "The schedule now is way above and beyond," Goodyear hypothesised. "When I began it was two episodes a week. It's become more and more." Goodyear further claimed that, while she respects the current cast's level of commitment, her performance would suffer with such high-turnaround scenes. "I've tremendous admiration for them being able to do it, but I'm a perfectionist in my work," she added. "I need rehearsals, tech-runs, make- up and costume." The Weatherfield legend, who was last seen on the cobbles in 2002, was previously rumoured to be making a guest appearance for the funeral of Betty Williams last year |
sam - pot plant or danica - train wreck
no contest who goes Queen Julie to win  |
A lot of actresses and actors are known for making demands for special attention to producers, Joan Collins is one, funny then how if that is the case, they never said enough is enough and did a dramatic storyline to end once and for all Bet Lynch's connection to Corrie.
Never as I have said many times has her has her character been killed off, she may make demands for priviliges, she may or may not be wrong to do so when working,it has not though resulted in no doors being left open for her to work on Corrie again. An actor/actress likes good storylines, if they don't happen often they demand better ones or choose to move on. Julie Goodyear is no worse than others who make demands on producers. |

Coleen's face in last night show when she saw the old hag approaching in the mirror for a phoney hug was priceless. Vote to save Coleen and it's a win win! Sam will go and Danica will go, leaving Julie without a female friend in the house. She'll have to go back to befriending Harvey's peen :joker: |

The younger cast have known no different and so it's fine for them but I read this about Julie and I can take the point for a 70 year old who hasn't done these lengthy and punishing schedules before in the past, it is possibly too much to consider taking on now. I still can see a chance of an even short storyline were she to win CBB though as to Corrie trying to persuade her. They also said, as people hoped for Hilda Ogden to reurn for Betty's funeral too, that they didn't want older big characters back to possibly detract from the occasion of Betty's funeral so they didn't allow any of them back except for Betty's son Gordon obviously. |

Which one was the real phoney? It is more likely Coleen that will be left with no female friend in the house.Maybe even any real friend come to that. |
