All a massive fix, Dermot had to ask again obviously because it wasn't in the script.

This.

Really hope people don't start blaming Dermot as they usually do because it's actually ridiculous to do so. Dermot will have had the producers screaming in his ear to hurry Louis up (as was evident by him becoming increasingly annoyed) and, as he made clear on Xtra Factor if it wasn't already obvious, he can only accept an answer to the question 'who do you want to send home?'. As silly as it may sound to not accept Louis saying 'I want to save Carolynne', that isn't Dermot's problem, there are clear stipulations he has to follow and once Louis had said 'I want to take it to deadlock' (as is an acceptable phrase) that was that. Dermot just does as he's told, he's the host - he doesn't run the bloody show.

I have to say though Dermot getting pissed off with Louis was very amusing.

Yes, but that kind of defeats the object of a judges vote if you think that the person with the lowest votes should always leave.

Then you have my permission to be annoyed at the producers for having a judges vote. Louis is just a kind soul who is on the panel to represent the public.

The worst one is still in there and that's District3.

indeed

I'm loving the fact that so many people are going bananas over this. It's an entertainment show: and the purpose of that is to entertain - and it's most certainly doing that...... look at how many are discussing it. Mission completed I'd say on the part of the producers/judges etc. :D

Now I am no fan of District3, but they are better than Carolynne. She is just not a good singer at all

:joker: seriously?

He asked again because it's protocol that they have to announce who they want to send home, not who they want to save. Also, I bet he couldn't even really hear what Louis was saying properly over all the commotion and pressure

newsbb 07-10-2012 09:31 PM

i dont know what happened! he SAVED carolyne then changed his mind?? WHHHHYYYYY i hate this!

Same at this end with cries of ''Fix'' "I hate this show" and all sorts of expletives in their statuses and going nuts!!. :joker:

I think it's hilarious - it's also pretty predictable - it happens every year though it's a shame it's at the cost of those who are talented but hey: that's showbiz!

Wrong because he was allowed to say he wanted to save Cher against Paije, not send home Paije against Cher.

So that does throw any defence for Dermot out of the window.

Great mocking from The Mockinator

I just cannot see the point of having the results programme set for an hours duration, have only 2 acts singing as guests and one song from all the finalists and then still not leave adequate and well enough time for to cover comfortably the sing offs and get the judges votes.
Why in an hours show is the main reason for the show crammed into just near 10 minutes at the very end.

Suspense perhaps..

Very true Joey, it's like they think promoting other artists is bigger then the competition

For the last time...DERMOT DOESN'T MAKE THE RULES, HE FOLLOWS THEM THROUGH THE PRODUCER IN HIS EAR.

How many times? He's just the host, he doesn't dictate how the show works in some kind of weird conspiracy where he chooses the result

King Gizzard 07-10-2012 09:59 PM

Guess appearances get them a hell of a lot more viewers as well
