I know Peter, that's why I said it takes a very strong person not to get involved in office gossip and as you said you have taken a stand and don't get involved, of course its very disappointing that this has happened, unfortunately that is human nature for you. I suppose looking at it from her point of view, if she was an outsider to begin with and is now in the gang she might find it difficult to walk away and finds it easier to just go with the flow and fit in. Some people just cant stand alone, don't take it to heart its more their problem than yours.

Yeah cherie i know she did struggle at first and has more than once said she feels part of something now she has even said if it wasnt for me then she would have left by now, she probably didnt mean any of what was said.

Agree with this although it doesn't make it easier when you hear bad things about yourself. Try and take it with a pinch of salt, you will be the bigger person for it. I bet they were mortified.

I've never acted lie someone face but I never go up to a person and tell them what I think I normally just bitch and if the person ever addresses me then I tell them what I think... I'm in a similar situation. I'm just going to be myself and get on with my job. It's not worth getting upset over people who are quite clearly nasty. Good luck tomorrow.
