I don't expect anything Livia, and I have no intention of opting out. All I object to ( and I have had this discussion privately with Matt btw ) is those forum members who use this event as an excuse to personally attack other people. :pipe:

Don't give out anything personal about your life and people can't personally attack you.

Lets see if you still say that should you receive votes and comments in the event Marcus, given that you, like myself and Vanessa, are one of the more sensitive members of the forum.

I think people are either in or out, but liaising with Matt first, to try and form a layer of protection isn't really fair. Either people have free votes or they don't. Matt, I'm sure will just reflect the votes of FM's.

Trying to warn Matt about perceived future injustices is a shameful thing to do.

Maybe you're confusing people attacking posting style and the way people come across on the forum with personal insults.

Saying you don't intend to withdraw and then saying how sensitive you are will surely have an effect on the way people vote for you. If they vote for you. And who is going to measure how sensitive someone is, and whether or not a post is too upsetting.

Perhaps a way around it would be that people have to opt in rather than opting out. If you opt in, you are in fact agreeing to the Razzies and can't really moan about what's said.

So if we opt out we can't vote or be voted for?

Can I just state once again, I have no idea what these awards consist of. I don't know any of the categories that exist now, or may be added. I've seen people talk about them, and it piqued my interest.

The forum is dead, and it's games that involve more people, that actually work out better for more people.

I don't think any of us could name all the categories off the top of our heads Jesus, but I guarantee a number of folk will already have a target in mind regardless of categories. :)

I wouldnt opt out by the way as I really don't give a toss what folk think of me, but I do think that if it does go ahead, normal forum rules should apply to save it turning into a mahoosive slagging match and ultimately a closee thread.
