K then.

Oh god i would rather eat my own poo that get caught up with the horrid little cliques on here.
There is no doubt that there are a vile little group of losers on here that try their best to back each other up and alienate anyone that they dont like on here but there are also a core of bloody nice people that dont get involved in that rubbish.

I have learnt a lot about this place recently a lot of it a pleasant suprise x

Some of it just confirming what i thought about some members unfortunately but you get some weak people that hunt in packs in any community i suppose.

I prefer to not be too involved here but there are a lot of genuinely nice people here even those that i do cross swords with sometimes.

:laugh2:

Anyway, I used to sometimes. Then I stopped being so paranoid and realised that if I just joined in more then people would talk to me more. Then I discovered that IDGAF if someone dislikes me anyway, I will still post what I like :joker:

I agree with the truth here,I have never felt part of a 'group' on here,I DO have a few members I really like and get on with .I have also come across people I thought were really nice and turns out they weren't,so I guess it's just best to chat to people we get on with and avoid the conflict, although I have enjoyed some of that in the past it goes way too far sometimes, plus side there are some really lovely people on here.

AnnieK 17-04-2013 09:30 AM

It is impossible to get on with everyone all the time but as this is a forum and completely optional as to who I converse with, respond to or not, I enjoy the time I spend on here. Initially like most people I was wary of what I posted and when and spent more time deleting and editing my posts than actually posting. I then started posting more and getting involved more and there are a lot of really nice members. I think Bob's teddy bear thread proved that the members on here are always willing to help - even if you've had cross words with people.

But you're in one of these so called 'cliques' whether you admit to it or not. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, some people just get along with others more easily, and you seem to have that with a few other members on here. As do I with some members on here

Benjamin 17-04-2013 09:34 AM

No. No. No. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

No more clique talk please. :(

Niamh. 17-04-2013 09:39 AM

In response to the OP - no I don't usually feel left out, that's just because I post alot though, the more you post the more up to date and involved you become I think

People recently went out of their way to try and help you. Many of them in those so-called cliques you're railing against. Lots of people that couldn't help you, still wished you success in trying to achieve what you wanted to.

It's not a perfect forum, but we're not perfect people. I say "we're", but I'm obviously talking about everyone other than me.

Who is the group of vile little losers? Name and shame.

Marc 17-04-2013 09:42 AM

I've been here since 2006 and I still don't feel like I can speak to some people, but if you speak to a small collection of people it can make your time worth while on here.

You should be more wary about what you post, as that's utter garbage.

Cherie 17-04-2013 09:52 AM

Not sure posting on the forum is enough if you truely want to engage with people here on more than a superficial level. You need to post on their walls, PM and build up one on one friendships that way as well I think.

I dont know, theres a few I consider myself quite close to on here and I very very rarely post on walls or PM.

That said, maybe they think Im a weirdo or something and just humour me :suspect:

FFS - what bit is garbage? I have been constructing that post since 7am! Just to make sure I don't offend then warily hit the submit button.

Just be yourself and don't let them intimidate you and you'll be fine.

I love this forum and i feel at home here. I have a laugh and a chat with most people. Of course sometimes arguments happen. The only thing you can do is learn from them and try not to make the same mistakes again. :)

I am not in a clique at all some of the members I get on with are also members I've crossed swords with a few times, but I do class some members as online 'friends' that I would like to meet in real life,I call a clique a group who do not welcome anyone in other than their known buddies,I will chat to anyone who is friendly and not abusive,so although I have been called a few things like being in a 'covern'(lol) they are wrong it's just members who get on,nothing to do with whichcraft.

Vanessa 17-04-2013 10:04 AM

I think it's important to try and be as active as you can in here. That way you'll be too busy to feel left out. It works for me!

I go through phases of feeling part if the forum and feeking like an outsider. I find that if I feck off fir a while, its hard to get back into.

I think the more you chat to people the better you feel in here.

Just the bit that starts with "It" and ends with "people".

Gotcha....back to lurking and feeling like an outsider it is for me then

Vanessa 17-04-2013 10:23 AM

I think you have to make the effort to feel part of the forum. If you're active in here then i doubt you'll feel left out. There will always people you have more in common than others, but you can still be friendly to the others.

Black Dagger 17-04-2013 10:23 AM

I think the whole 'friends of moderators never get infracted etc' is a silly comment.

Yes exactly Vanessa, I actually don't even think we have a problem with cliques on here atm, I think people have their own groups of people that they get on better with (which happens in all walks of life) but it's nothing now like it was a couple of years back with cliques. I think people are generally pretty friendly here

Yeah, some people like to use any excuse to have a pop at the Moderators, it's a tough life for a Mod Lucas :'(
