No it would be a media circus that would turn into a business exercise for those with no scruples.

Its Like a Criminal Minds Film.

So many locals are shocked as they trusted the
School Bus Driver with their own kids.

Shocking, disturbing, disgusting story. It figures that three men are involved. It's virtually impossible for one person to keep three adults hostage for 10 years.

What kind of person helps in this kind of case?

Looks like it was just the one man now, his two brother's aren't going to face any charges

Nedusa 09-05-2013 06:24 AM

I would find it hard to believe his brothers were not complicit in this crime. I cannot see how he could have kept this from his brothers for over ten years.

How could he have possibly have kept all 3 women + babies imprisoned in that house day after day after day, and work full time as a driver as well.

No... His brothers must have had some involvement surely...!!!

Shocked as well, Nedusa. Makes no sense so far. Stockholm Syndrome not withstanding, there were no red flags for the brothers? More will come out in the days following up.

There are all sorts of links between this guy's family and the girls. He has other family members who knew the girls quite well and spent quite a bit of time with them before abduction so who know what else is gonna come out about this crime.

Yeah, wasn't his sister the last known person to have seen one of the girls before her disappearance?

Yes. That's true. This is all very weird.

Also, the girls were no more than 5 miles away from where they were abducted for almost ten years.

Nedusa 09-05-2013 11:52 AM

Surely all it would take for the authorities to charge the other two brothers with complicity in this crime would be any testimony from any of the 3 woman that they saw these other two men at any time in those last ten years.

Are we saying that these two brothers never went to this house or spent any time whatsoever in this house, they never went downstairs, they never heard a sound and they never, ever saw any of these women or heard them or their babies cry or saw anything untoward ???

I find this almost impossible to believe........!!!!!

Charles for number one. It's not quiet "Nobody can cross it", but great either way :joker:

lostalex 09-05-2013 01:39 PM

So it turns out our "hero" Charles Ramsey has more in common with the villain in this case. He's been arrested and convicted 3 separate times for abusing and beating women.

I think we can stop using the word "hero" for this sleeze bag now.

Livia 09-05-2013 01:41 PM

I remember something like this in Belgium, and a few weeks ago I watched a programme about two Russian girls taken and kept for years by some sicko pervert. Makes you wonder how many more women are, right at this moment, being held. What a horrible thought...

That is a horrible thought. I can't even begin to imagine what these women must have went through. I hope they manage to get over it and be able to have a normal life again now they're free :(

GiRTh 09-05-2013 01:54 PM

And, they were less than 5 miles away from where they were first abducted.

I find it astonishing the girls were so close to their families.

He saved the women. Every right to call him a hero. Deal with it. Don't bring up something from 97 like that matters in the slightest to what he done the other day.

Yea well maybe if he beat the **** out of your mom or sister you'd care if everyone was calling him a "hero". He saved a girl from an abusive man, but he is an abusive man himself.

We all do wrong. Some alot worse than others like he did. Don't get on your high horse though. Ain't right what he done, but it was a long time ago and he's clearly realised how wrong it was when he was desperate to help the woman as he thought she was suffering from domestic abuse herself.

Only thing as cowardly as woman beaters (for me anyway)are people who like belittling people on things they done a long time ago and have learned from it to probably become better people. Hate it and hate people like that.

lostalex 09-05-2013 02:10 PM

Well unfortunately the reoffending rate for abusers is very high. but I hope you're right and he did get himself straight. It's very rare though.

Erm... no.

Nedusa 09-05-2013 02:20 PM

Just heard that these women never left that property for 10 years, oh my God I'm so angry at the evilness of this crime that I would quite happily strangle to death this nasty, evil piece of human garbage....!!!!
