No thank you doctor arista.

Glenn. 14-05-2013 06:47 PM

I only brush after I mouthwash because the taste makes me feel sick.

I see it as giving my mouth a thorough clean.

Vanessa 14-05-2013 06:51 PM

I use listerine. On the bottle it says use after brushing.

..yeah it does if you do it straight away Arista..but not if you wait about 30/40 minutes..it's the same principle as when you eat fruit..you don't brush your teeth straight after because the fructose softens the enamel and you'll just wear that away..you wait awhile...it's the same kind of thing when you use mouthwash after brushing your teeth...

The mouthwash washes away the germs that are scraped off your teeth when you're brushing.

To keep the protection of the toothpaste, my dentist said leave it 30 minutes before using the mouthwash.

I'm sure you're more of an expert than they are.

People are aware that smoking is a waste of money and good health but they (including me) simply enjoy it, so it isn't your place to tell people to stop. Other people are trying to cut down or quit, in which case you lecturing them is completely useless and futile. Give it a bloody rest. :bored:

Well, I didn't quite expect this thread to turn so serious.

DDRickyDD 14-05-2013 10:15 PM

I always use mouthwash after brushing, it's healthier for the teeth in my opinion.
