Well you would say that :idc: anyhoo you're derailing the thread with your pro devil dog rhetoric.

Our next door neighbour has a rottweiler and it is soft as muck. Its scared of their kitten actually

That said I can see why they get a bad name, as there ARE a lot of bad ones around. A guy in our street when was growing up had one and it savaged some blokes arm for no reason..it was nothing to do with the owner..he had had loads of dogs and they were all soft and obedient.

I'm not disputing that some of them go wrong and do bite people. Its just when things like that happen, its just assumed all rottweilers are beasts, and they're not. Mine's scared of her own shadow.

She was in the garden in the week and the wind blew the black bag in my wheelie bin and she run a mile

Really? I think maybe you're confusing posh with British.

Like Christine Baranski can have quite a posh sounding voice which is still distinctly American, which seems to portray wealth and power.

Otherwise, I agree with you about wealthy people being stereotyped with posh accents.

Also, speaking of British in American movies, we're always the villains. :D :p

Oh I know, it just read strangely "either British or American with a posh accent", so I just put British.

not enough regional accents in movies, especially american movies.........all brits end up having to speak posh english or american........so no geordies, no scousers, no welsh, no strong yorkshire, no mancunian accents, few scots, no west country accent, no brummie accents etc etc though we do get orish accent as theres so many irish in america its seen as a cool accent........then british movies end up with 99% bland posh accents as in harry potter , narnia movies or the latest charlie and the chocolate movie.....bring back regional accents its part of what makes britain great imho

the generalization that all dogs are good is profoundly dangerous....clearly there are a vast number raised poorly by dodgy owners.....innocent people should not be under any threat from dangerous dogs, so people should keep them on leads in public places.....either that or we start licensing...

have to say too some dog owners who walk their dogs round and round and round in circles and talk about nothing but their canines need to get a life

1. The racial stereotypes
2. All the homosexual stereotypes
3. All Blondes being thick
4. Anyone that watches Science Fiction is a freak
5. Anyone that watches Reality TV is an idiot
6. All Science Fiction shows being the same
7. That all men are sexual beasts yet all women are saints when it comes to sex
