Just saw an advert 2 mins ago (after Neighbours) and it's good to see now they already say the date, and not just "Coming soon".

Don't they always update it pretty quickly after the date comes out? Btw, they promoting both dates or just the 13th, not important I know as the second will be mentioned during the first, just wondering.

Usually it takes them a few days.

They said just the Thursday, but if they don;t advertise Friday on ads, I am pretty sure they will on billboards and if not, it's clear it will be mentioned lots of times by Emma during the first launch.

So is part 2 up against The Voice live shows which is also being filmed in the George Lucas studios just to the side of the BB house? lol

STICKY THIS THREAD FFS!

Mrmattybeck 02-06-2013 08:41 PM

i really think bb could hit 3m with hardly any competition its got a very good chance

@bbuk_fans 06-06-2013 07:08 PM

I think it'll rate pretty well tbh,I think it will definitely will be the top rated show in it's slot. Bugger all on other channels!

daniel-lewis-1985 06-06-2013 07:15 PM

No promo really though.

Dunno.

CBB11 did shockingly well so.

Fingers crossed it hits 3 million.

Anything below 2.5 would be disasterous for a launch.

daniel-lewis-1985 06-06-2013 07:17 PM

Ps.

Sticky this thread ffs.

True, but the scheduling will run in it's favour, with people channel flicking, then sticking around on channel 5, as they realise there is nothing major on other channels

I think, like last launch, it will be the most watched show for 16-34 demographic

*mazedsalv** 06-06-2013 07:27 PM

I predict 3.1m.

STICKY THIS THREAD FFS!

I don't think The Voice live shows are on every Friday. They return back to Saturday next week. They're only doing it on this Friday because of the BGT final on Saturday.

The only competition for Part 2 is The Million Pound Drop launch on the Friday.

Sawyer 08-06-2013 10:28 PM

Can this be stickied please?

Me. I Am Salman 08-06-2013 10:31 PM

3.52 for the launch
1.9 for the series average
And 2.6 for the final :spin:

With such high launch and finale figures I cant see how you could work an average of 1.9?

PLEASE STICKY THIS THREAD

Pronshi 09-06-2013 09:28 AM

Launch: 2.7-3.3 Million. Don't see it getting higher than 3 million.
Average: 1.6-1.8 million. High at start then falls towards end.
Final: 1.9-2.4 Million. Peaking at 10:05pm.

DigitalSid 09-06-2013 10:46 AM

Launch: 3 million (Provided we don't have some freak heatwave)
Average: 2m (Provided 'Secrets & Lies' stops the first highlights show bombing too badly on Saturday)
Finale: 2.5m (Provided the series doesn't dive off a cliff mid way through like BB7 did, it didn't effect that but BB was a bigger brand then, people would have been more willing to persevere)

Really?

Even when the BB13 finale only got 1.76 and even CBB10 only managed 2.18?

Cant see that myself.

Hoping you're right though.

They really did badly didn't they? That BB13 rating is less than the (official) series average, was it up against anything big? Probably being a little bit optimistic and ambitious with the finale, I'm basing on the assumption that this series will be as good as it's being built up to be and thus won't reflect the last generi-series and the 2 million average being maintained throughout, as the nightly shows tend (I think) to be few hundred k below the amount watching throughout due to some not watching some days and others not watching others. I do think it's possible, I know they're not really comparable but CBB11 ended on far higher than it's series average, but 2.3 is probably more likely.

*mazedsalv** 09-06-2013 11:37 AM

We have to keep in mind that now most have Ch5+1 and more people recording it, the overnights could be around BB13 levels, but the officials could add a fair bit (look at how CBB11 added around 400-600k every night on timeshift). So overall it should be higher than BB12/BB13 in general. Also Ch5 have been doing better in 2013. Just look at CSI nearly breaking 2m incl +1.

Overnights prediction:

Launch (1)- 3.1m
Launch (2)- 2.5m
Final- 2.2m
Average- 2.0m

Momentum is the factor. BB13 was unlucky to be against the Olympics/Euro and numerous other events. The closing ceremony was on during the last HL show. The final was the day after and people may have completely forgotten about it. A HL show beat the final only a 3-4 weeks before.

I think CBB11 was a blip. It did surprisingly well, probably helped by the 2 most entertaining getting to the final 2 and the snowy weather.
