Yes Marc he did

I agree with the lack of Live Feed and I hated BOTS treatment towards you.Somehow they always had anti Aaron fans in the audience, it just didn't match the representatives of the show considering you were leading the polls every week on every single poll on the internet to win/save.

I saw you post on DS that Pete Burns apologised to you after that stupid comment on BOTS, which I am happy to hear.

You should have seen what it was like on here during your time in the house! The majority were fans of yours, but there were ongoing rows for 10 weeks about you between the fans and the people who supported the others. But despite Jay coming 2nd, he was never popular anywhere on the internet.

Niamh. 04-06-2013 10:33 AM

Who was your least favourite Housemate?

Except on twitter.

He wasnt even popular in Newcastle..which is odd as usually they get behind the locals

Jake. 04-06-2013 10:33 AM

I also hated the treatment given to you by BOTS most nights, and the Pete incident... Did it bring down the experience at all?

I can't quite my head around that I was a hm.
When I think of the greats I just think as a fan.
It's nice to hear though!!x

you and alex were my favourites during bb12. do you speak to anyone else besides faye now you've left?

I have random chats with Mark and Anton. Very rarely Harry.
As our year was quiet in terms of media, no one made money, so the meeting up afterwards and partying never happened.x

Marc 04-06-2013 10:39 AM

No money?!

Do you have any regrets about your time on the show?

Regrets? Not too sure. I watch it back and think why did you do that and I should've said that.
I do ponder on the final week, with halloween noms and Presentgate, but I was being true to myself and as much as it would have been easier to shut up and cruise to the final night, I had to maintain what I believed in.x

Ha! I get that quite a bit.
I honestly don't think I was as bad as it seemed, but watching back I wish I'd been more confident in myself and not worried about certain things. However, if I hadn't been as I was in situations, it would've prevented others from showing their true colours.x

AnnieK 04-06-2013 10:42 AM

Knowing what you know about the Big Brother experience now would you tell people to apply if they're huge fans?

I watched the last CBB with Speidi.
I imagine I will watch this year. I've been asked to do a Video Diary blog about it, but I don't want to be tied to every night!!x

Jake. 04-06-2013 10:43 AM

I know you applied for other, earlier Big Brother series (i think anyway haha), do you think that you was better suited to another series apart from BB12?

Yes I am.
I get annoyed about certain bits of it, and I think there is so much that could be improved, but I'll always be a fan.x

Ah, it's a shame that you didn't give BB13 a go, from a fans perspective it was a good series :)

Alex was the ONLY housemate i found remotely interesting at the time. I just wasnt interested.

With hindsight youve grown on me but at the time i dubbed it the worst victory weve ever had.

But you were humble in your victory and i realised the majority of my frustration was generated towards your unreasonable, loud and obnoxious fans.

Still thought u were cute though :P

Why thank you.
IMO, Alex was great to live with and nice to have around. She was not involved in anything though, and as a HM I struggled to rate her. I was impressed that she kept up her persona through out the show.x

I think so. It's hard for me to answer, but whilst living it I was very aware that I was involved in virtually everything that happened. I had planned to keep my head down and slowly get involved, but after about five days it felt like it was all about me. Even my fellow hm's seemed to give the impression that they thought it, despite being told by all but Jay that I wouldn't win.

elliebrew 04-06-2013 10:53 AM

I think to make it up to me for u winning you should take me out on a date :P

Time has been my friend in dealing with the aftermath.
I'm very self critical, so if one person was negative, it has more impact than a positive opinion.
Reading the forums and watching the show, I realise that I annoyed many through no actual fault of my own, but equally I annoyed people via the silly moments I had.

I think when you entered the house, people thought, "yeah he should be OK, but he may be evicted early", but I think the turning point for you, well on the forums anyway, was when you were winding up Rebeckah. I remember seeing that in the HLs and remember the love you got online after that HL show. You pretty much stayed consistent the next 9 weeks and your popularity never declined.

Hmm.
Tricky.
The problem is I thought everyone brought something to the table.
Rebbeckha was a nightmare, but great as a HM in terms of the value to the show.
Tashie was not my cup of tea and Heaven was hard work at times.
I think Louise eventually wound me up the most as I don't think she earnt her place in the final. Just my opinion, but when the initial impact of being pretty passed, there was little in the offering.x

No. I wouldn't feel right doing that unless I could have a personal chat with them first. It would feel like sending someone through a mine field with prize at the other end.
