the twins aren't proud to be fat, they're fat and and trying not to be negative and moany about it which if they were, I'm sure you'd be complaining.

There are people who like being fat, are proud to be fat and want to be fatter.

Also, of you're worried about overweight people on TV and children wanting to be fat then surely you'd be better trying to ban all the smokers from BB, as its arguably worse for you and unlike obesity kills those around you.

In summary, if it really bothers you so much don't watch.

hear hear :dance::dance:

Being overweight should be something people are ashamed of. Wolfie has also started the whole 'I am doing it for fat girls' crap that Josie Gibson crap. I hate the way fat people often make out that slim people are horrid, dull and shallow when in fact we just want to be healthy and refuse to apologise for maintaining a good BMI.

In addition I get p*ssed off when fat people lose weight and everyone congratulates them. How about congratulating people on remaining slim??

Hope BB doesn't cave into twins demand for food.

People should be ashamed to be fat? Well how fat do you have to be to be ashamed? 2lbs overweight? 30lbs overweight? What?

If people are fat, who cares? I do agree that not such a big deal should be made of people losing weight. On the other hand, there shouldn't be such a big deal if someone gains weight.

People ask for "normal" people in the house. Being oversight is considered "normal" now. You'd be complaining if it was all skinny models.

Vanessa 19-06-2013 02:39 PM

They weight is not an issue for me. It's the constant talk about the production that really annoys me. :nono:

Well all I know is that im going to be very angry when I get terminally ill and I can't get the expensive pills I need to survive because of all the fatties who have zero self control and have had to have a gastric band.

Unless you have underlying medical/ mental issues for weight gain there is simply no excuse for obesity. Ultimately how fat is fat, if you wonder over ones BMI. It's not rocket science, move around more, eat less and eat healthier.

The twins, Sophie and Wolfie are amongst the youngest in the house and the fattest. Their parents should be ashamed imho. Gluttony and slothe are just wrong. Jackie and Jemima are the elders and value fitness and health. What is this young generation coming to? If I were BB, if the twins whinged in DR about having to eat healthy veggie fare I'd tell them if they want to get meat then they have to exercise. Lazy pair of layabouts. Grrrr.

thats a very unfair generalization. Most overweight people will never need any such surgery and few need any more help than anyone else. Smokers and drinkers are much more responsible for clogging up the NHS.

its obviously not very good for you and yes it isnt too difficult to understand how to lose weight. I myself lost over 6 stone in the past year or so. But if people don't want to lose weight why should they have to? Everyone knows the risks.

Good post. Obviously if people are grossly overweight and medically at risk, then that's a different story, but people who are quite fit and active but carrying more weight don't deserve people jumping on their case.

I think people should be more ashamed of being rude and stupid. That seems quite acceptable, sadly.

They almost went into a cardiac arrest walking into the house.

Agreed, the twins may be overweight but they're working and are hardly leading a less than normal life. Why should they be ridiculed if they're doing the same as everyone else but just look different?

Roy Mars III 19-06-2013 03:05 PM

the twins aren't even that big. Sure they could lose some weight, but it's not like they are grossly overweight

Because some people find them an easy target. And after all, everyone on the Internet is perfectly beautiful and overweight people are the last easy target. You can't be ageist, you can't be sexist... but you can criticise people if they're not the weight you think they should be.

Absolutely not, but surely you can go about it a different way other than going down to their level?

If someone is stupid enough to see them and think 'hmm yeah, I wanna be fat too!' then it's probably best they die off before they pass on their genes.

unfortunately sensible discussion and facts don't seem to get across to most people on here.
