breaking records?

Shaun 25-06-2013 01:43 PM

I'm guessing a bullwhip makes a sonicboom when used, and I think Felix broke the sound barrier when he did that space-jump. So I'll say sonicbooms

Nice one Shaun. Could be on the right lines.

Can we have the next clue please?

Bullwhips break the sound barrier, causing the whipping noise. Felix Baumgartner broke the sound barrier during his space jump, Sonic the Hedgehog of course travels at supersonic speeds and Concorde the only commercial aeroplane to break the sound barrier. 3 points to Shaun.

Panic at the Disco is taken from a Smiths song so maybe it's bands whose names are lyrics from others songs

The Aquabats! are a Ska-Alternative band, they have a Kids show, so you weren't far off Shaun.
Panic! At the Disco, have had the exclamation point removed and moved around but as far as I know if officially resides within the name now.
Westward Ho! is the only British place name with an exclamation mark, named so after a book set there
and Yahoo! of course the famous web giant.

(Sorry for delays, was at the hospital today!)

Onto Connection 5 of 6, this time you'll be seeing images, what connects them? Here's your first clue:
