If you throw enough darts at a board, One will go into the bullseye. He comes up with so many scenarios that when one comes good you never hear the end of it. Problem is we never hear of all his crappy theories. All this hype about him being a top cop, HE WASNT he was one of many with boring paperwork jobs that had to sift through a mountain of evidence. To hear some on here he is the reincarnation of Bergerac. In fact his career in the force wasn't going anywhere and he gave it up to chase fame and fortune as a media *****. His theories are not all that clever nor ground breaking. The only big thing about him in there is his ego. Once last nights show was over, he nearly broke his neck to get the singlet on cause he knew there would be after eviction live feed.

Come Friday when this twist is revealed all be prepared for a whole highlights show of Dan going 'I knew it' 'I knew they were both in a secret house' 'I told you all'. If Wolfy was revealed as an actress last week Dan would have gone through the whole 'I knew it' crap again.

None of the other housemates believe this one though so I think the producers have pulled it off. I can 100% guarantee Dan will pretend he knew everything all along when really he is just being like everyone else in there, paranoid.

He sussed Michael, he sussed how fake Wolfy is (therefore suspecting she is an actress), and now he is the only HM to suspect a secret house.
What he says is far from crap. He's brilliant!!! :bouncy:
I love Detective Dan! :thumbs2:

How do you know this? And I suppose the other HM's are in there to teach the world all about high morals and values and give their winnings away to charity? Fame and fortune are the last thing on all of their minds apart from Dan, right?

You seem to like Dan so much, why don't you don your specs and try to find out these facts. Nearly everyone and his uncle has heard them but there again, you might not be as good as Dan. I will help you a little. Before he entered the house Ch5 announced that he had left the force to go into the house and his bosses were not that pleased. now you can figure the rest out yourself.

Obviously he was such a good detective that his bosses didn't want to lose him if they weren't pleased. If he doesn't find fame and fortune I'm sure his job will be left open for him and they will be delighted to have him back. He's proved how smart he is - but then it seems they know that already.
The other HM's don't want fame and fortune of course - the very thought! :joker:

Sleepy Sampvt? It's tiring work trying hard to find fault with good HM's isn't it? Takes it out of you. Enjoy your nap. :joker:

Dan hasn't ruined the twist.

He's just speculating like so many hm's over the years and he even talks himself out of that line of thinking towards the end of the clip.

Patronising someone is a great way of valuing your own worth. :nono::nono:

This and he is not emotionally equipped to deal with rejection as he has so clearly demonstrated. Dread to think how many breakdowns and hissy fits he will have before he leaves. A sad and pathetic knob.

would never say I 'hate' a housemate, much prefer the words 'really don't like' Hate is a very strong word thats used far too freely:sad: Nope Dan never killed anyone as far as I know so I'll stick with really don't like. I wouldn't say I can't stop talking about Dan, nope, my fave housemates are the ones I never shut up about, the ones I don't like just pop into my comments now and then. To be fair I think people talk about HMs they don't like because they want them out and get on their nerves. Once Dans gone they won't talk about him anymore as with any housemate

R0B1S 06-07-2013 07:08 PM

I'm pretty sure they all are talking about these "theories" and "conspiracies" each day, simply because they are bored and need something to keep their mind busy with. They probably come up with ridiculous plots all the time (especially just before and after nominations/evictions) and most of them are total rubbish. Just because we don't see them disscusing these things on each highlights show doesn't mean they don't do it. We are mostly shown only those times when someone is close to or hits the mark and that's always gonna happen if you talk long enough.

Chill, I am only jesting. I would never knowingly upset anyone or say anything bad. I call it healthy banter. Keeps it real and funny. no offence taken I can assure you (t.w.a.t.) :joker:

Problem with Dan is that he is OTT with everything. He cant just chill and go with the flow, he needs to be constantly thinking there is something wrong with everything out there, what a sad life he must lead. I think he is Bi-polar

anne666 06-07-2013 07:15 PM

I get really pissed off of the word hater being thrown around, just because someone has a differing viewpoint. Hate is a very strong word and not applicable in this context IMO. Cut the dramatics please.

His boyfriend seems sick of the way he is behaving as well. That is more to the point than anyone ranting on here about how wonderful he is.

He's not Bi - polar. Just a detective through and through.

When and where did you get that idea?

I don't dislike him for his intelligence, I dislike him for how he comes across as aggressive sometimes, sometimes I like him, most times I don't, he's a difficult hm, can't make my mind up about him!

fingers 06-07-2013 07:26 PM

He's been right far more times than he's been wrong but listening to the other thickos in there just makes him doubt himself.

But you don't really know that. As I said - it could be that he is making up these "theories" all the time, each day. Obviously they would not show as every delusional conspiracy theory he comes up with. Just because we haven't seen him being wrong on more theories doesn't mean he really hasn't.
