I lost a cousin to heroin. It is one of the hardest drugs to overcome, even being off it for five years one can still have flashbacks and urges.

Strange really that no one noticed (or seemed to notice)... heroin's ridiculously destructive. Such a shame. :(

Nicole Richie was a heroin addict for a while and aside from being really dangerously thin, I don't think many people would have looked at her and clocked her as a user. I think it's just because you associate heroin with homelessness and desolate circumstances.
