I can believe it. Schools are tragic in my area. No one does well not even the brighter kids.

I think its part real and part an act. I like that people are seeing how Sophie operates. She's more devious than most of the other HM's but she'll inevitable sail thru to the final.

Anyone on here never heard of Ghandi? C'mon own up!

even if they haven't read of him or watched documentaries or tv reports , surely the majority have stumbled across the movie or the movie title mun...though many people probably think sir ben kingsley is in fact Ghandi lol....one of the worlds greatest ever pacifists and a hero to the world

Verbal 23-07-2013 01:10 PM

Belo - shakespeare won
Helen - i like blinking I do came 2nd
Jade - East Angular came 4th
Josie - You know what I do whenever I'm feeling low, I always think about that woman that got her face ripped off by a chimpanzee. Won

Seems the GBP love a dunce and an amusing quote so my money is now going on Sophie.

Livia 23-07-2013 01:10 PM

I imagine the majority of people on here knows who Gandhi was... however, I'm equally sure that the geniuses we have in the house this year wouldn't have the first clue who he was. Although I bet they could name all the Kardashians.

Gandhi would have been a crap housemate anyway too preachy and a bit of a pervert.

Kizzy 23-07-2013 01:11 PM

So she's never heard of gandhi... big deal.
Is that the indicator of who is a worthwhile human being now?

Well, he was one of the greatest men of all time... it wouldn't hurt to know who he was. And to be able to spell his name.

Verbal 23-07-2013 01:13 PM

BBBOTS are going to dress Belo up in a loin cloth and sandals arent they?

I know what your saying but people should have a basic understanding of certain people/events that influenced our race (unless there is a medical/psychological reason).

I would be a little offended for instance, if she didn't know who Hitler was.

I didn't like Josie at all but that was one of the funniest lines to ever come out of BB

Oh to add Sophie from BB10 who also won, had never heard of Barrack Obama apparently (eventhough on her application form she had wrote him down as a person she admires

the truth 23-07-2013 01:18 PM

she was showing off how ignorant she was......bad few episodes for sophie, the whole grilling callum to see if he would sell out his best friend (against sams wishes) was mean spirited.....she comes across as cold

Ghandi had an infinitely greater and more positive affect on this planet than adolf H....he was a pernicious little sh*t

I thought Sam's reply that his whole rest of time in the house would be ruined if Callum gave, (for Sam) the wrong answer, was very enlightening.

Yeh I know, but Hitler and what he did to a large part of the world was a major part of our history and we should know it so that hopefully the same never happens again. Human growth n all that.
