What has gay got to do with being a man.

People can choose not to be gluttons, stalkers, act like children, lie or be manipulative but someone who is gay hasn't the choice not to be so.

Why should that term be included as a negative as to being a man.

Eh? I assumed we were talking about choices for the ladies (which is why I put the bracketted bit on). What I meant was that a woman would hardly go for a gay bloke :S

Was answering 'Yes that's what we're all looking for in our men... lying, manipulative con artists.' rather than vanessas post about being a man D:

While Dexter may be what you say, whats the other options?

- Gay (Im assuming we are talking about what ladies want :p )
- Acts like a child
- Gluttons with nothing on their mind but food at all times
- Guy who is likely to stalk you if you ever split up

Not the best picks

My reply was to the 'dexter is more of a man' comment....
I would say that any of the others even taking into account what you consider their flaws constitute a better man.... And dan? well... he is the man

Well sorry to disagree.
I know of a great number of women who would go for a gay guy if they had any chance and many do strongly try to anyway.
Hazel for instance is strongly attracted to a gay guy in the house.

Still for me anyway, it doesnt alter of all the options that being gay is not a choice it is the way of life for those who are.

Hazel for insatnce is strongly attracted to a gay guy in the house.

It's more of an emotional connection though, she see's him as a strong positive male presence than a possible conquest I think :)

skinny guys like Dexter are all the range nowadays, I think it may be a generational gap thing here. It is not all about the muscular guys anymore. I think alot of younger people would find Dexter attractive based on looks

Not really bothered about his physical looks (although I do like to jest) but personality wise he's a big fat NO.

yea, but people are going as if he is ugly. I think a lot of people would pick him over Dan just based on looks and not personality

I understand not liking him for his personality though

Johnnyuk123 24-07-2013 03:21 PM

Apparently Dexter shouts... unleash the trouser snake..... just before jumping into bed.

Vanessa 24-07-2013 03:22 PM

I like both his looks and personality.

Or maybe just wanker. Sorry I'm only having a laugh, couldn't resist. I never believed he worked as a dating consultant or was any good at chatting up women.

You could be onto something there.

Muscular is out and metrosexual is in! Dexter would fit in well to the latter.

But I still think he would have more appeal to gay men than to women. And I doubt he'd object to that too much. ;)

I agree. I think he likes both males and females. ;)
