His whole persona is sleazy.

Sam probably shouldn't have said what he did. But he's naive, rather than a sleaze and for people to be acting all outraged at Sam makes me LMFAO.

Ok forget the Dexter rant...substitute his name for anyone else's that hasn't chosen the "edgy-persona gameplan"...let's say someone around Sam's age [24 ish] ...someone without the disability,...someone that, like Sam has been brought up in a normal family environment, and has travelled the world [he spent part of his life in America without his family don;t forget] a lad that claims to have had [apart from his hearing problem] a pretty normal life, with ...and yet you claim naivety for his comments? mmmmh...me smells double standards Livia! :suspect:

His comment were never intentionally offensive, two slightly off colour spontaneous remark can't be held against him.
Lord you would think it had been as bad as threatened acts of actual physical violence or explanations of involvement in serious sexual assaults .....

My problem with Sam's remarks is not content as much as context. Just like people have different "voices" they use whether they're talking to their parent or their friends or their employer, there are different levels of acceptability in behavior. Sam seems to feel he has the right to speak to everyone in the same manner he'd speak in a locker room. Nobody has taught him otherwise, but instead of coddling and thinking "oh, isn't he silly," he should be corrected for that behavior, whether it's the women in the house telling him it's not ok, or BB calling him up for it.

I wonder how many of the people saying it's no big deal would feel the same if it was their mother or their daughter being chased around in the workplace by some strange man making crude comments to her or forcing her to kiss him.

I remember in the real world Andy gray the sky commentator got sacked for his comments against women which were not to similar to what Sam has said in the Big Brother house... :nono:

BTW, I like the ladies and flirt, but have never used the rather disgusting word "gash" to a woman.

I think a warning would be fair enough actually. It wasn't a terrible thing to say, and it was clearly meant in banter, but it's still out of order.
