I think it was too, it takes the pressure off sam and the targeting he was receiving from dexter and sophie and puts Charlie and hazel back in the spotlight.
I think hazel was justified in her rant and I would have felt the same the nomination reason was terrible!
Nothing to do with Charlie at all...

CaudleHalbard 06-08-2013 01:36 PM

Hazel-haters don't needed any reminder! Lol! ;)

Daley told Hazel, and others, that he was single! So Hazel did nothing wrong!?! As a previous poster said, some people have nothing else to slag her off with,so they refuse to let their misconceptions go!!!:nono:

Rightly or wrongly, she is seen as about 90% to blame for Dazelgate, by a substantial proportion of viewers... not just 50/50 or 'two to tango'.

Wrongly!!! All the sheep being swayed by BB and BBBOTS!?!?!

No he didn't. He said he was unsure whether his relationship would still exist when he left the house..... or words to that effect.

I'm guessing most girls would have not touched someone in his situation with a bargepole. Hazel decided to pursue him relentlessly.

90% of all people are idiots. This just confirms it.

Doesn't matter how or whether they are being swayed. The end result is the same!

If Hazel shows more of her aggressive side this week, it will only serve to confirm what is already in the minds of her detractors.

Wrongly.

And is she really in for a reality check? The only reality check I can see her getting is that the world is an unjust, hateful place and that 90% of people are complete idiots. But she strikes me asthe sort of person who is already aware of that. So... I doubt there will be any "reality checking".

CaudleHalbard 06-08-2013 03:50 PM

As a glamour model, I'm sure she circulates in a world with plenty of hateful people in it. She is very tough - she has to be to cope.

But even she may be shocked at some of the things which have been said about her - and the number of people saying them!

I dont know - I support her fully, and I'm not surprised by any of it in the slightest. "average Joe public" is stupid, blinkered, easily led and constantly hateful. That's just the world we live in, unfortunately.

I think some believe she'll be shocked about how much it might have "damaged her career and reputation" and expect her to run to the hills with her tail between her legs. But, it won't damage her career, at all, and she knows that so people are going to be disappointed I'm afraid. Her target market is not jaded, spiteful women.

CaudleHalbard 06-08-2013 04:01 PM

I'm not sure what is Hazel's target market. We know she wants to break into the UK. At present she is confined to Ireland.

If it is anything to do with fashion, then women - whether jaded or not - will be very much her market.

I'd never heard of her before BB

Her target audience is age 18 - 30 men. "Glamour Modeling" has absolutely nothing to do with fashion. The type of people who hate Hazel are already the sort of people who hate Glamour Models in general. Young, naive females who hate other females, probably because they've had a "man stolen from them" in the past and are misdirecting their hatred for the woman who "wronged them" at Hazel, and at sexually assertive women in general.

...Unfortunately, this is also the main demographic of people who vote on Big Brother evictions, and start chants at evictions. In fact, just listen to the (inevitable) "Get Hazel Out" chant on Friday night... and listen out for male voices. Practically non-existant - because the chanting, voting, and hatred is coming from women aged around 15 - 35.

As is the vast majority of the Hazel hated on this very forum.

So like I said... it has absolutely no bearing on her career at all. In fact, being disliked by silly girls probably makes her more attractive to her target demographic.

awww I like Hazel though, I hope she does do well just to piss all the Home wreckin' shouters off

CaudleHalbard 06-08-2013 04:21 PM

I don't dislike Hazel. I would MUCH prefer the twins to get booted this week.

user104658 06-08-2013 04:25 PM

I can more or less guarantee that Hazel will still be "around" in a year or two, regularly featuring in lads' mags, a few non-major-network (sky/cable only) TV shows, etc.

She is the ONLY one who will still be around... except possibly Dexter, if he can play it right. What lasting appeal do any of the rest of them have? Gina "fans" will have forgotten she exists by the start of BB 2014...

brucie 06-08-2013 04:26 PM

I love it when she is angry and swears in that irish accent!

mmmm, won't happen though, I think it's definitely the end of the road for Hazel this week. She had a great run though for someone who got so much hate!

Excuse me, you know this for a fact do you, have you got % to back this up, read back this thread, and it is mostly women supporting her!

Hazel's friend went in for the kill, and Charlie was smiling about it in the DR, not sure Charlie minded her saying all that stuff at all, Hazel's rant was classic.:D:

Ok fair comment but I did say it -seemed- like it was mostly women. It's just how it looks to Me, I don't have any proof though, so you're right in that respect.

Friend + Charlie=s Mom probably did not like to see Charlie and Hazel getting along so well.
So nasty nomination to split them up.
