Hate campaigns?

These people need hobbies.

Course they will.
Gina's just said on an exclusive her best friend has gone.

I'm not feeling sorry for her though, she's still got lots of friends in there.

Might actually do her some good too !

Ruins it for the show as it needs talking points to continue having people being invested and getting high ratings... I don't see Sam doing that.

Luke A winning didn't affect the show, infact the viewers went up

It does have talking points, not everybody in the house sits around and does nothing. I don't like the others, they annoy me and I like Sam therefore I want him to win. I know fine well Dexter has done more in the name of your entertainment but I don't like him I think he's a dick.

Sorry you don't agree.

Because Luke A was a decent HM..albeit a sob story.... challenged Becky/Insiders on numerous occasions and part of the Soldiers. So was a million times better HM than Sam. Luke A was there since week 1, not week 8.

So you would love a house full of Sam's? That's what BB4 was for and should remain the ONLY series to be like that.

No I would not I don't know where you got that from.

The variety is good, I'm just drawn to certain characters as are you that's all there is to it.

If everybody had the same opinion as you wouldn't life be a bit crap?

But there are plenty of us who don't like Dexter and his manipulative ways, Sam is the only one who stands up to him and so we respect that, he didn't do much in the first nine weeks because he wasn't part of yet another tedious love triangle (yawn, how original) or involved in any big rows so simply didn't get any coverage.

Dexter declaring his "love" for Charlie out of nowhere and said with zero feeling just to get into said love triangle is one of the reasons those of us without blinkers on have been bored by his sad attempts to manipulate from early on, Sam is the only one in the house who seems to see it and isn't afraid to call him on it (upsetting Dexter fans in the process). He seems the one most reasonable people can relate to.

So really you support Sam just because of your dislike for Dexter... and because Sam upsets Dexter fans..

Partly, not enough reason in itself, as I said I think Sam is the most "normal" person most of us can relate to and that's important. At the same time hate is a strong emotion and I hate people getting away with being assholes, Dexter has played a manipulative game all the way through (which many seem to like, perfectly fairly) and Sam has been the only one man enough to call him out for it, in quite a calm and mature way too (despite the vitriol from Dexter fans saying otherwise).

So long as Sam doesn't win, I'm contempt. Can't have the crappest housemate win just because he's Welsh and gets all the welsh votes.

CaudleHalbard 17-08-2013 12:21 AM

Sam has been the most useless of the HMs. If I had to make a choice I would rather have had Sophie, who is only marginally less useless, win BB14.

But really they should both have been booted by about week 4.

There are 5 left and they are all playing a game in different ways. The twins are trying to punch way above their weight by trying to forge a carreer out of being funny, they simply cant pull it off due to their weight and annoying ways. Charlie needs to get her head seen too. Gina is just a nasty dirty and lying scammer. Dexter is the worst example of a human being that BB has ever seen. He is all that is wrong in our society today. Sam is a bit boring and bland but he can do it when he needs to, problem is he hasn't really done enough to make him a worthy winner.

Out of those 5, none deserve to win but Sam probably is the best of the bunch and Dexter the worst.

CaudleHalbard 17-08-2013 12:36 AM

If Sam's true personality as a lager lout had come out earlier he would have been a lot more entertaining! :joker:

If an comatose dimwit like that is allowed to win, they might as well pack it in with the civilian version of BB. Because that will be the type of applicant they will get in future.... to which many of us will say, thanks - but no thanks!

Winkie Expand 17-08-2013 04:55 PM

Sheesh. How much time and money was wasted on Sam yesterday? :joker:

I know, and we Sam supporters didn't have to shell out a single penny more really.
Since in truth we treated the campaign with the full contempt it deserved, really glad it failed and failed badly too.

At least they didn't waste their money 7 times. :D:

but you are a hater yourself, a Dexter hater or am I wrong? Yaboo sucks to you too, whatever the heck that means LOL

lippyzippy 17-08-2013 05:25 PM

sam didnt laugh at sophie leaving!

The way gina did to hazel or the way the twins said they would do to dexter

he simply hugged her and told her good luck and stood there saying goodbye respectfully

says a lot about his class and character

they didn't get on, they didn't connect and she said he was looking for the sympathy vote which is mean. but Samson forgave and showed her respect.
in fairness dexter too didn't blow raspberries at cowboy callum when he was booted

so this is 1 reason why I still want dexter and Samson as the last 2 standing
