I am really pleased Sam won, congrats too to Dexter on being runner up. In fact well done to all the finalists.
Clearly the public have theri own thinking as to who entertains best or who they can relate to best.
I always accept the publics choice even if it goes against my favourite.

This series has from the start had housemates as to which any could have gone on to win in my view, I have had 4 different favourites over the series, Dexter, Dan, Gina and Sam.
Despite my moans and despite having to take a lot of abuse to me personally on here too I have still enjoyed more, than not, this series on here and looking back over the series as a whole, although I hated the meddling with noms and evictions, this has been one of the best for a good while in my view.

So what is happening, is it simply fixed and voting makes no difference ?

I don't have the Answer but do not believe Sam got more votes than Dexter or Gina or even the twins . No I'm pretty sure some dodgy dealings are afoot. Can't prove it I know but Ofcom needs to have a look at this, probably some dodgy betting going on as well...!!!!

Sam will be quickly forgotten. When we think back to BB14 we will hardly be able to remember the winner.

Yeah, i've seen that a few times on here.

Sad acts. :joker:

Like me, you didn't want Dexter to win, That's all Kazanne, not really done anything wrong just had the wrong opinion it seems.

No he didn't, he posted that it was sad that people were still using nastiness and vitriol against a worthy winner and wouldn't let it drop. You need to read my posts instead of offering platitudes that are incorrectly stated. I was trying to calm the windows down, unlike some people I could mention. The show is over and Sam one fair and square and some people need to deal with it as we cant change the past, we can only shape the future.

CaudleHalbard 20-08-2013 10:35 AM

If people felt Sam was in any way worthy of the BB crown there might be slight disappointment, that one's favorite didnt win - assuming Sam was not the favourite. However..........

It is the feeling that the winner is someone who is completely UNWORTHY that is leading to disgruntlement and annoyance. It is also the concern that the signal is being given out that it is ok to be invisible for 90% of the series so long as you can get the sympathy vote.

Does not bode well for the future.

DanaC 20-08-2013 10:37 AM

he was invisible because he wasn't shown. The producers were more interested in showing the ridiculous love triangle. Most of the other housemates talk about sam as being funny and warm. The way they talk about him suggests they had long conversations with him, and larked about with him. That was not shown.

I thought this might be the case, however his best bits were all stuff we had seen too?

I was expecting a Callum style best bits segment, where it turned out he had been a totally different, much more fun person to the one we had seen in the house.

Jords 20-08-2013 10:49 AM

People dont really hate Sam, just the fact he won.

HBB1508 20-08-2013 10:51 AM

I don't hate Sam I just personally feel he didn't really do enough to merit winning - but I guess a lot of people thought he did as he got the most votes so there you go each to our own.

Niamh. 20-08-2013 10:55 AM

Meh, the winners, 9 times out of 10 are a bit dull but nice guys/girls, atleast a few entertaining ones made it right to the end, I don't hate Sam, I just don't rate him much as a HM

flamingGalah! 20-08-2013 11:17 AM

Yes I have nothing against Sam, he is a nice enough bloke BUT he did not deserve to win!

Unfortunately it is the same silly thing that happens with the like of the X Factor, teenage girls vote for whoever they think is 'fit', regardless of how boring they are & teenage girls are by far the majority of viewers/voters :idc:

I just hope that when they look back in a few years time, that they are thoroughly ashamed of themselves :nono:
