Well yes, the script has to fit the edit...the script writer doesn't just make up some random crap which has no relevance to the actual footage

And the edit is overseen by the exec producer, who would ultimately decide whether they want to comment on this conspiracy that Lauren has seen her mum (which I believe after reading the forums today that's why they decided to comment on it and confirm that it isn't true)

Once again, it would be more trouble than it's worth for them to deny something that is actually true. They could quite easily have kept quiet if they wanted to (as they did with freezer gate) but now they've commented on it it would be more detrimental to them if it were found out they were lying, than it would if they had just told the truth in the first place (because again...since when do they care about what fans think about outside contact? every single task nowadays seems to involve it, I hardly think they'd be bothered about admitting it if it were true since they face so much backlash for all the other outside contact they have anyway yet don't do anything about it)

You forgot the bull**** department who advise the script writer who goes via the legal department (according to you) who then goes back to the bull**** department who then go to the editor who is out because it's now lunch time , so then the producer gets mad because no one asked him everyone just jumped straight to the EXEC producer as always , Marcus meanwhile just wings it and says it how it happens .

That conversation would never have made the HL show if it hadn't already been broadcast on the Live Feed.

Firstly why are you talking to yourself? :suspect:

Secondly are you seriously insinuating that Marcus 'just wings it'? Like are you joking or do you think he writes the script himself? He may have more creative control nowadays but Marcus Bentley of all people doesn't decide whether they comment on a conspiracy theory or not

I agree, they had to address it or it would have been brushed under the carpet.

So, a little bit of "Damage Limitation" is required, oh, why not a VOICEOVER?

Why is it so obvious to some of us and not others?

If when she is I'll she has to see her mother and she is 35 the last place she should be is on big brother maybe junior big brother, it's not fair to other housemates that is what Charlottes argument was about.

I thought I wrote that in English, obviously not simple enough though.

Lauren has been given special treatment from the 1st day. Nothing would shock me any more.

She's 35 and has been suicidal in the past. It's perfectly fair. Charlotte is the one complaining. She's in the wrong.

People go to Afghanistan at 18 if they are I'll they take a tablet they don't cry for their mothers , godsake Lauren needs to grow up and get with the programme.

Not many will agree with that, unfortunately!

And Lauren is the nations sweetheart so fair enough she gets treated like a queen. It's only fair after all.

Then she shouldn't be on the programme like Charlotte said it's an unfair playing field they all started on.

Seeing you mom isn't part of any playing field.

Why on earth did someone who attempted suicide at least twice even get as far as ENTERING that house?

Because she is a very entertaining housemate who has overcome so many things in life and deserves to win the show as it will help her to enjoy the rest of her life knowing that the public adoure her.

You do far too much guessing with no facts.
