I have no doubt I'll be banned soon as I've been warned twice for reiterating that. But I dont really care. It's a fact. Charlotte is a lot more respectful of people than the forum members intent on tearing her down are, and I have infinitely more respect for her as a member of society than I do for them.

Charlotte showed no respect in the house.

First if all you know jack **** about me, so don't presume that just because I have opinions on a reality tv show star, I must be disrespectful of others!

I try to show respect and empathy for people from all walks of life regardless of background, age etc as long as they deserve that respect. To me good morals, modesty, and an awareness of other people's feelings are traits which deserve respect!

Yes, exactly! She did not consider other people at all!

Chuckyegg 14-09-2013 11:20 AM

A society that is perpetuated by the people who enjoy reality and pseudoreality television.

The girls in your scenario by charlottes age had finished or were in the latter stages of university. They could hold their bladder sufficiently, conduct conversations adequately and during disagreements could express themselves without swearing and crying?
Where I live 'kids' like charlotte go on to have kids like charlotte, not many of them become reality TV stars.
Anyone who was honest with themselves could not say they would be happy with the thought of their child exhibiting those behaviours.

I'd be horrified if I had a daughter that went on national TV telling everyone she'd had a cock up every orifice, and talking about sucking off her boyfriend. Charlotte was all about the shock factor and likes to talk about chit, thats something I may expect from a 16 year old. At 23 years old I would expect more maturity, 23 is young but certainly not a baby.

I'm even more glad she won as it winds people up, it's like Aaron all over again!

The rest of it? No i would have no problem with my daughters being like that at 23. At 30? Maybe. But 23 is just a baby! I know "society" has a ridiculous expectation that anyone over 18 (or 21) should be a fully fledged "adult at all times" but its utter nonsense. Let the girl be young.

And there we have it... This misconception that anyone under 25 is not capable of rational thought! Where did this ideology come from?
The only reason for this shift is apologists like yourself who fail to acknowledge their child is actually a grown up.. and can and should be fully functional in the adult world.
They are NOT children, and I would have thought anyone at 23/4 working, having relationships and everyday interactions would be most offended that you believe them to be so emotionally retarded.

What do you mean by 'won' stupidhoe?

Pincho Paxton 14-09-2013 11:34 AM

You can tell the fans of Charlotte even in this thread have some lack of respect.

Why does it make you happy that people may be wound up? I'm guessing you are a fan of Charlotte but find it odd that you are more pleased she won on the fact that others may be wound up rather than wanting her to win because you liked her. What an odd comment to make. Its nothing like Aaron, I was over the moon when Aaron won.

He has made the most sense imo, I think people who genuinely believe Charlotte winning is some sort of proof of the decline of the UK are either a bit ignorant to what is actually happening around us or they're just naive.

I've seen her called so many vicious names, such as scum - she's a girl from Newcastle who swears and wets the bed but if that really gets people questioning society while people are stabbed in the street and murdered every day I question what rock certain people live under if the likes of Charlotte are what they class as the dregs of society.

You have an avatar called Stupid Hoe, and you don't like people calling a girl from Newcastle names. It's a contradiction.

Where did I say I was more pleased she won to wind people up than just because I genuinely like Charlotte? stop manipulating what people say to fit with your agenda.

Anyone else heard that Sophie was taken out of the compound by security drunk? She wasn't on BOTS.

Wouldn't surprise me, she seemed intoxicated on the 8:30 highlight show.

To you maybe as you agree with him, others don't.
Nobody has won or lost it's a topic that is in discussion.
I haven't suggested that charlotte winning is proof of moral decline, what is happening around us?
Nobody is 'living under a rock' for questioning why charlotte won, it doesn't mean they are ignorant or naïve.

I loved Charlotte even before she was on CBB and championed her all the way, it's just an added bonus it's annoyed some people, not the soul reason I am glad she won, neither is it now I better reason

I disagree. He won it on page one imo.

SH, you don't need to explain yourself. The country have decided Charlotte is their winner, and that is fact. She has the crown. :xyxwave:

That's true! just a bit sick of the drama queens saying the fact she won means the country is in dire straights. Such a silly over reaction in my opinion.

To be fair stupidhoe you are the only one suggesting that there's a link to charlotte winning and the country being in 'dire straights' I certainly haven't said that and I haven't seen anyone else say it either.
I have an opinion that I have voiced has have you.

smeagol 14-09-2013 12:03 PM
