..yeah, really sad news about the teenager who is missing..they said it will reach its 'peak' between 8-11am and almost on cue, it's picking up more right now...it's very, very loud..the wind....

Benjamin 28-10-2013 07:12 AM

Still nothing here in Bristol. Not even wind.

Verbal 28-10-2013 07:22 AM

Yet another brilliant British over reaction :joker: theres probably less than a quarter of the entire country who are even having anything approaching a strong wind. Never mind a bloody hurricane.

Verbal 28-10-2013 07:23 AM

See you back here next month for the 'ermahgerd its gonna snow! I need bread and milk and eggs! thread'

At least two people dead, loads of homes with no power, a lot more trains and flights cancelled than they thought, flash floods in some places and loads of trees have been uprooted, don't think it's that much of an overreaction

Thankfully we have missed it so far, been a bit windy for a couple of days.
I think it is meant to give us a wave on its way out to sea later on.
My poor daughter lives down south and she has had al her power cut off, to make matters worse, her partners grandma is due to arrive for a short break with them anytime now.
No heating, hot water or cooking facilities....poor grandma:hugesmile:
