Bitch it's still stressful

And there's other much worse issues but I'm not comfortable with revealing them because I don't like saying personal stuff on the internet

We all go through ****e.

People take their own lives, family members die, friends go to rehab, people get shunned for their sexual orientation, people get ill.

In the big picture college and contact lenses arent that big a deal right?

Take it on the chin, have a bitch about someone, get pissed, order 10 pizzas to your tutors house, watch Home Alone.

C'mon we live in the Western World be ****ing grateful.

Kyle 07-11-2013 07:11 PM

Just because we live in the Western World doesn't mean we have no right to be stressed or depressed.

Bit harsh, what can seem a minor problem to one person can be a huge thing for someone else, that is what makes us individuals. Yes I get the gist of what you are saying that there are far worse things can happen in life, but that doesn't diminish what is happening in peoples lives at the moment. It is all relative.

My life right now sucks!

It doesn't matter where you are from, you could be the richest man on the planet and be so incredibly unhappy or the poorest man but be totally happy! Happiness doesn't come from where you are or what you have.

daniel-lewis-1985 07-11-2013 07:44 PM

Ok then sorry.

My life sucks! The plaster in my new flat is taking ages to dry so im living in one room!

Im sure some child who has to walk miles for water and lives in a **** hut would sympathise with me though.

Depression and mental illness sufferers then yes that sucks but stressing over contact lenses or college im sorry get over it.

Atleast you can #WorkBitch

I agree, but sometimes the stresses that are put on people can become too much. Sure it's not the end of the world and it will get resolved but people are aloud to feel stressed out or down or whatever. People can't feel guilty because of the position they are in, we don't choose to have the life's we get. Of course it's awful some circumstances people are in in this world, in fact it's so unfair but that's life, what can you do?

I'm so stressed out over college stuff, like this year seems so difficult and I'm not motivated. I keep procrastinating (e.g. on here) and don't feel like I'm taking anything in, I'm getting paranoid over the course I'm planning to do (English language + linguistics) in terms of whether I'll get a good job I also enjoy out of it. With UCAS I haven't been to one tutorial yet because my college is a bit of a mess, so have had to rely on the help of my friends with it, no guidance from a tutor.

Also I'm stressing over my contact lenses, because I'm getting special ones as my eyes are a weird shape but they might not even fit, meaning I won't ever be able to wear contacts ever and that's a terrifying thought..

There's a ****load of other problems too, e.g. family stuff, and things so much worse than what I've mentioned. I'm not depressed though, but I haven't feel properly 'happy' and content, I'm just getting on with things if that makes sense ;s

..honestly Salman, having astigmatism isn't anything unusual and if the contact lenses you are getting don't suit you, there are lots of other ones and one of them will be just right for you, so try not to worry that you won't be able to wear them, ok...I know you will worry because that's what we do, isn't it..but it's like anything, they'll just try different ones out with you until they find the right ones and there will be 'right ones'....

lostalex 08-11-2013 04:35 AM

angry and lonely.

..obviously lonely doesn't take much figuring out but do you know why you're angry or is it more 'angry at the world/everything and I don't know why..'

..anyway, sorry I didn't mean to pry or anything Alex, I was just going to give you an internet hug but that somehow just seemed a bit hollow...

Hmmm, average. I mean, I've got mock GCSEs coming up so that a bit stressful, but apart from that, my life's pretty okay!

Good job Daniel, Salmans life will be right on track after your wise words!!!!11

like seriously, that arguments so ****ing dumb and self-righteous. Just because other people are much worse off than him it doesn't make his feelings less valid or solve any of his problems.

Redway 10-11-2013 03:39 PM

Average, in one word.

reece(: 10-11-2013 04:17 PM

Pretty poor.... may just be "trivial" things but..

College - full of expectations I'm meant to meet yet I get given minimal time to complete assignments and I naturally write a lot so never get stuff done so I'm ending up with **** grades.
friends - Barely see some of my really valued friends anymore cos they've all got into relationships and /there's me/ah/, loneliness gets to me a lot (and the ever growing fear of being unwanted).
Then there's loads of family stuff I'd rather not divulge into online.

mizzy25 10-11-2013 04:19 PM

Im actually sick of feeling like crap. I would love to have one full nights sleep without any weird dreams. Ive not a full nights sleep for years. I sleep about 4 hours before waking up. I would love to wake up and think I feel great, never happened for about 20years.

Black Dagger 10-11-2013 04:33 PM

repetitive.
