It's almost Shakespearian, you became what you hated the most. :(

Well, I've only had him a couple of months and tbh I haven't really felt down or sad yet since I had him  My dogs would though especially the older dog

Does that mean I have to have sex with my mother? Because I'm not doing that again, thank you very much.

He's fashionable too, it's a nice suit he's wearing. :elephant:

Edit: different cat whoops

Kizzy 08-11-2013 09:27 AM

Sigh....
anyhoo, yes I do believe animals have ESP and have an inate self preservation tool maybe that we don't have.
When the mood is sombre like following a bereavement pets feel it too, and they pine which I guess is grieving.

lol he doesn't think it, he knows it  I was worried about how the dogs would react to him originally but the cat wasn't even bothered by them, he's definitely the alpha

Thats true, I know particularly with rabbits they grieve for one another, they bond for life and when their partner dies the follow shortly after as the grief is too much for them :-( it's so sad.

I remember when Kazanne told me all about the pussy she had and how cute it was. Eventually she showed me a picture and I remember saying to myself "how strange. This pussy doesn't have eyes"

It's quite tragic isn't it! They can bond with humans too which I think is lovely, my little man oscar was on his own for about a year with me and he treated me like a rabbit all the time licking me and nipping me when I did something he didn't like, he follows me everywhere it's so cute and then about 3 or 4 months a go I got him a lady friend lol they aren't fully bonded yet but they get on great and I think soon they will be snuggling together all the time :-)

awww :( I remember when one of our dogs died 2 years ago, her and our other older dog were so close and he really grieved for her, every day for weeks after when he was being fed he would look over at where she used to be when they were being fed. We got a new dog and he doesn't mind her now but it's more like he tolerates her then likes her

Kizzy 08-11-2013 09:40 AM

Watch it, you may have a houseful soon!

Kyle 08-11-2013 09:41 AM

Don't swans mate for life too?

I remember hearing tragic stories about hunters killing the one swan and then the other wouldn't flee so they had easy pickings.

I'm not sure if that's true, everyone always says it but I think it was disproved
