Nah it was actually really scary I just ran back into my bedroom clicking the living room light on the way, locked my bedroom door and phone the police then Stuart (he was working nightshift)

Not sure what I would do if people broke into my house, probably just politely ask them to leave and promise not to phone the police

I sometimes get really scared about getting broken in to when I'm on my own at night.There's a hammer somewhere but can't really hit them with that lol

Someone broke into Stuarts parents house one night when we were all sleeping upstairs, the dog ran upstairs and Stuart went down to check why because they are usually in the kitchen at night and he came back up and woke me up saying 'Josy the back doors open and the microwaves lying out in the back garden' turns out the burglars were actually in the living room when he was down in the kitchen, they made a run for it when he went back upstairs so he was quite lucky nothing happened to him.

It's a weird creepy feeling knowing someones been prowling around the house while we were asleep tbh.

I feel safe in my home because I have family members living with me.

Although reading these posts might make me change my mind lol.
