I thought she totally missed the point of the song tbh. She turned a 'storyteling' into a belting tune. It didnt work for me.

There are some songs that should only ever be sung by the original artist. Candle in the Wind is one of them. She shouldn't have tackled it, IMO.

Adele - Someone Like You is another one, yet someone always hacks away at that one.

The problem with Sam B is that she can't sing in a lower range which at least Luke can do, and even Nicholas can do it, but Sam B is lucky that she can belt it out because she's got a powerful voice, but she seriously is ordinary when she can't belt out a song.

At least Luke can remember his lyrics and isn't karaoke like most of this years crop, and especially over Scotland and Tesco Mary 2.0

But what I find funny is that singing like a rocker means that you shout, TXF audience really needs to look away from Pop Music sometimes.

If you look in the charts no singer is that versatile because if they was then where's Rihanna's Rock records? Where's Katy Perry's Reggae Music?

Rihanna has used rock influences in some of her songs, and she is versatile past more than one style (which Luke is not)

Rihanna can't even sing that well at her own style lol, and I'm on about a full on Rock song not sampling other people's songs and then putting her own Pop style onto the song.

Rihanna isn't just R&B though... like Luke is only rock. That is the point, I'll wait until Salman returns so he can do all the P.E.E.

And if versatility is so important then Sam B and Nicholas certainly can't win and here's why.

Sam Bailey:
1. She can't do lower ranges.
2. She mainly does cheesy Karaoke type of Pop songs.
3. Everytime she does a modern song she completely flounders and sounds terrible on them.

Nicholas McDonald:
1. He can't hit the higher ranges.
2. Ever since his gone for more modern songs his sounded like a strangled Cat apart from the Adele one.
