Nigella will be fine. The BBC can't afford to lose her because the general feelin from the public is not anger towards her (although that is what the impression that the press give)

Wouldn't surprise me if he hadn't put the sisters up to making the accusations.
Takes the heat of his throat grabbing antics suggesting she sprinkles cocaine on the kids cornflakes doesn't it?

She is better with out that ponce

everyone loves a good scandal, if anything it will help Nigellas career now that newer younger chefs like Lorraine Pascal or w/e are becoming more famous

I think Nigella's career will survive OK in fact with all the added publicity I think even more people who don't normally watch her will tune in. She is NOT on trial and any revelations regarding drug use are heresay and gossip so I think we have to take all of this with a large pinch of salt. she has done nothing wrong other than extricate herself from a violent sham of a marriage.

In fact if I was married to nasty controlling freak like that I would probably have to take drugs as well........!!!!

The Sun for instance had the headline at the weekend, 'Nigella gave her children drugs'.
Nigella has already given an account of herself in the trial and that headline was a total disgrace.
It was one of the accused who are on trial for allegedly stealing from her and her husband who said she had done that, it is neither likely truth or proven fact.

I hope Nigella goes from strength to strength in her career and I feel it is shocking that she is the one being plastered all over the front pages and 'not' the 2 miserable people who are the ones actually on trial and the ones 'charged' with offences.

Exactamundo Joey agree with all that:hugesmile:the press are such plebs tbh.

Two sisters who worked as aides for Nigella Lawson and Charles Saatchi have been found not guilty of fraud.

Francesca Grillo, 35, and her sister Elisabetta, 41, were alleged to have used company credit cards to spend £685,000 on items for themselves including designer shoes and clothes.

The Italian sisters were employed as PAs by the TV cook and her multimillionaire art dealer ex-husband Charles Saatchi, who were divorced earlier this year.

A jury at Isleworth Crown Court took eight hours and 52 minutes to clear the pair of the charges against them.

The Grillo sisters were not in court to hear the verdicts but there was a cry of "yes" from someone in the public gallery.

Francesca was with her sister in another room in the court after Elisabetta, who suffers from claustrophobia and panic attacks, collapsed for the second time in 24 hours this morning.

After hearing the verdicts, Francesca could be seen smiling and talking excitedly in Italian on her phone as she was being hugged by a supporter.

Oh well time to move on to the story that's been dominating the proceedings then?... *sigh*

Wonder what this will mean for Nigella now? I'm assuming they've been found not guilty because the court believes their story that Nigella allowed them to buy whatever they want so they wouldn't tell anyone about her drug habits? Does make you wonder if that's why Saatchi was strangling Nigella in public because it seemed out of character for a happily married couple, especially to do something so extreme so publicly.

she tried to cover it up and was it her money they were spending or her husbands?
whats also a disgrace is the bias towards nigella by her employers the bbc, who have hopelessly yet again to be objective , which is supposedly what they claim to be...disgraceful organization displaying yet more double standards and no doubt more cover ups again

Rubbish. As someone has already said, she was not on trial. The very occasional use of drugs does not a druggie make. Otherwise anyone who has ever touched a drop of alcohol is an alcoholic. You just want to smear the reputation of a respected, middle-class white woman, to in-turn smear the reputation of middle-class society. You are nothing if not totally transparent.

Good luck to the Grillo sisters with ever finding another job anywhere.

God I know, they'll never be allowed access to company spending ever again, that's for sure.

I'd take freedom and no job, over prison and then no job, any day of the week.
