..wow, no matter how much people want to win, there is still nothing but admiration for each other...that's a lovely tweet and if people's thoughts and wishes could make a difference, then they most certainly would for him... |
I hope he recovers :( he's a total gentleman (or at least, he's always seemed so whenever I've read about him / seen him interviewed), and a sporting legend.
Im not even going to consider he wont aurvive at this stage. ..hes been a fighter all his life...
So a press conference is to be held in the morning at 10am
Yeah I dont think we will get anything unless its bad news... anyway im off to bed...hoping for positivw news tomorrow...
Is this necessary? Shoo.
Hope he makes a full recovery, he's a sporting legend. |
Think of F1 and I think of him :( hope he gets better!
More family are flying to be with him ans hia old boss Ross Brawn is also en route....
Lovely to see the outpouring of well wishes from the F1 community. .. All I can do is hope |
F1 president Jean Todt has also now arrived at hoapital....
This is awful. even though F1 isn't the biggest motorsport in the US, It's getting a mention on the big news stations. Huge Legend
This is horrible, hope he pulls through :(!!!
With all these people rushing to see him it's hard not to expect bad news in the morning.. Will be a great relief to wake up and hear he's stable though. Well, just any positive news.
..all I know is that he's been put into a forced coma..(I think..)..which is a normal thing to do, to take the stress and trauma off his brain to allow it to heal...

Here's hoping...
it just goes to show how safe formula one cars are, you can crash at 200 mph and walk away.
Exactly and he was one of the main factors of that...he had a huge part in the current helmet design...
Press conference in 10 minutes
Has contusions on the brain. Aodemas... artificial coma. Has intercranial pressure. Only the 1 operation. Working hour by hour. Has a great number of liasions. His condition is extremely serious and in a critical condition. The helmet saved his life without it he would be dead. There will be no second operation.
He was conscious but became agitated and aggrivated...hence why he was induced into a coma.
In other words clots on the brain. Bruising and swelling on the brain. And regulating temperature of brain.
They've said his age was a positive factor - if he were older it could be very different. Keep fighting Michael
