Underrated Masterpiece!

Long Hot Summer is one of their most forgettable songs yet is still quite good

Yeah, a lot of people forget it.
I just remember hearing the instrumental a lot on TV at the time of it's release.
I never used to like it, but now realise it is supreme.

Nadine Coyle has given birth to a baby girl.

The former Girls Aloud singer and her fiance Jason Bell announced their happy news via Twitter, with Nadine telling her followers that she already loves 'being a mammy' to the couple's daughter.

She wrote on Monday night: 'I am overjoyed to let you know our little girl is here. She is amazing! I love being a mammy & will fill you all in soon. Love Nadine Xx.'

The star's former Girls Aloud bandmate, Cheryl Cole, was one of the first well-wishers in the wake of the happy news.
Writing on her Twitter page just minutes after Nadine's announcement, Cheryl said: 'It is OFFICIAL!! There is a baby Aloud!!!!!! Congratulations @nadinecoylenow & Jason so amazing!!!'

Nicola Roberts added shortly after: 'There is a little baby Aloud! Congratulations @NadineCoyleNow & Jason on your little baby Girl. I'm so happy she's here and healthy <3 xo.'

Kimberley Walsh added: '@NadineCoyleNow Congratulations to you both!! So happy she is here safe and sound. Can't believe you're a mummy.'

Sarah Harding tweeted: 'And on a happier note, I can now officially say "congratulations" to
@NadineCoyleNow on the arrival of her gorgeous little baby Girl Aloud.'

Nadine announced the couple were expecting a baby girl together on New Year's Day.
Oh and Sarah said something about swearing on her solo album. :idc:
See reece's thread....

What's everyone's favourite cover song that Girls Aloud released?

Jump
I'll Stand By You
See The Day
I Think We're Alone Now
Walk This Way

Me. I Am Salman 04-03-2014 12:44 AM

Jump & Walk this way
their cover of I'll Stand By You is one of the worst songs ever recorded

james130 04-03-2014 01:09 AM

On the whole, I think their covers are their weakest singles.
Always hated I'll Stand By You. Don't know why it performed so well when Whole Lotta History is far better.
Id say Jump is my favourite.
I quite liked I Think We're Alone Now at the time, but when I listen now I cringe.

james130 04-03-2014 01:10 AM

PS. Kimberley is pregnant.

And Cheryl's probably at home crying.
She's always made it clear how much she wanted kids. :idc:

Will Nadine call her baby Ashley? Ashley Coyle has a nice ring to it.
