New zealand, Hawaii, USA and a europe trip (greece, scanadnavia and england) is also on the card.
sometimes you just have to get away from living this dream is australia.

Meh, Fiji is overrated and very expensive for what you get. You'd be better off hitting New Zealand from Australia and then enroute to LA do a stopover in French Polynesia then Hawaii, it works out a lot cheaper and is much nicer.

Also flights from Cairns/Darwin/Perth to Bali can be quite cheap.

I would only do fiji if i was going with my one true love. hmmm interesting about french polynesia always wanted to go to bora bora. did you do it? tbh the romantic get away doesnt have to be fiji, it could be any pacific island just thought it would be cheapest because its the most established.

I'm trying to get something booked but cannot make up my mind! We almost booked something yesterday morning but didn't and by the time we got home from work yesterday, the free child places had gone and the total price had gone up by £800!! FTS!!

Clear your browsing history and cookies and check it again, prices go up when you revisit sites lee. We're off to tenerife :D

Ooh I'll try that kizzy. Where in Tenerife are you off to? I think we're definitely going to the Canaries... My fear of earthquakes has wiped most of the world off my holiday destination list :(

Kizzy 24-02-2014 10:10 AM

playa de las americas I think, want to go snorkelling and see dolphins and pilot whales and theres a great waterpark there :D

Yeah, it's got to be all inclusive.. I did think about self catering this year, but when I think how easy it is for the kids just to help themselves to water/ice cream/slushies all day, I changed my mind.

Kizzy 24-02-2014 10:16 AM

It might add 100 euro but takes the pressure off doesn't it? then you can relaaaaaax.
Who want's to cook on holiday?

Depends on when you are looking to do it. French Polynesia can be added as a stopover from Auckland to LA at no/little extra cost.

Fiji isn't as cheap as it used to be especially if you want comfort/romantic, I would say look at Vanuatu but flights are not always the cheapest there either.

Saying that New Zealand has some great places for romantic getaways in the summer, Waiheke Island being one of them, especially if you like wine.

Not me! That's the whole point of a holiday for me; no cooking, no work, no housework.. Utter bliss! Damn! I need to get something booked quickly!

King Gizzard 24-02-2014 10:24 AM

Never have anyone to go with to go on a holiday/too much fuss getting a passport and transport

MTVN 24-02-2014 10:26 AM

Got a friend doing a year abroad in Germany so hoping to visit him over there in late May/early June once I'm done with Uni, if I can afford it anyway, could do with getting one of these job things

Who are you flying with (airline) as it is not often flight prices drop to lower than they would be the earlier you book them.

Oh cool, is your friend doing the English Language Assistant thing or at uni or doing a work placement? I love Germany, could go time and time again.

I paid my deposit to go to Russia :amazed: not sure of exact dates or how long I'll be allowed to stay there for but I would love to see Moscow and St Petersburg while I'm there!
