andybigbro 13-01-2014 03:47 PM

Cheese on toast is just that, slices of cheese sat on toast...

Roasted Cheese is a slice of toast with cheese on top of it actually roasted under the grill, so it's roasted cheese or bubbly cheese as my nephew calls it.

if you where roasting it, it would be in the oven.

I will let you have grilled cheese on toast!, but nothing else:joker:

Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Tea is a meal you have in the early evening if you're not having dinner. That's my take on it, anyway.

Apple202 13-01-2014 06:01 PM

Tea is a drink and also evening dinner

Roast would imply the use of an oven though :suspect:

Broiled cheese doesn't have the same ring.

Jessica. 14-01-2014 12:37 PM

We just call them toasted cheese. :umm2: That's not what my thread is about though, stay on topic, calling a meal tea is silly. :fist: It's like saying "orange juice" instead of "morning".

Crimson Dynamo 14-01-2014 01:49 PM

Your tea is your meal at night, its also a beverage that should not be drunk after 4pm
