Agree with this, in the BB house whatever your disagreements with other people you have to do a lot of things collectively, when you're living communally like that then doing basic acts like cooking and eating should just be done as a group, not used to pettily get one over on someone you don't like.

It's not like they were asking for her to cook them a five star bloody meal, but seeing as she was making one large communal dish it isn't exactly a big ask to make enough for another two people

You missed this bit..... "with people she actually likes"

I personally wouldn't cook for someone I didn't like

Patricia4 16-01-2014 09:16 AM

She's a selfish bitch.

Sometimes people have to when part of a different environment. When I was at Uni, I regularly cooked for friends and people I didn't like.
In the BB house better to not cook at all than single anyone out for not to get anything she was cooking, that was plainly spiteful and childish.

As it would have been, had Lionel or Jim been doing the cooking and then singled her out for to get none either.

Niamh. 16-01-2014 09:27 AM

lol so so so childish

Vanessa 16-01-2014 09:49 AM

If i was there i'd cook for everyone, including the people i don't like. They may not like it though. I'm not exactly chef Ramsey! :joker:

They are not a 'community' and they are not in a kibbutz, just a few minor celebs fighting for airtime for a few days.
It's hard to predict what any other celeb would do in that situation.

No Kizzy it isn't, Jim said he was going to cook for all of them, then when she wasn't having it, he proposed a compromise of him cooking for the boys and her for the girls, and when that wasn't good enough he said he would make do with toast.

No jim said he would cook for the boys during the disagreement, making out she had an issue with the men of the house... she didn't, just the two who had been calling her an evil effing bitch all afternoon.
Let him have toast, dry toast! and I hope his crusts drop off!

Jim said he was going to cook for everyone. It was Louisa who made things awkward. She was going to cook for everyone, except Jim and Lionel. Jim said that he could cook for the boys and her for the girls. I thought it was a good compromise.

This

Vanessa 16-01-2014 10:46 AM

I don't think Jim is too bothered for himself. He'd be happy with some toast. He just didn't want anyone to miss out.

Kizzy 16-01-2014 10:55 AM

Why make it a gender issue though?
Luisa was cross with lionel and jim due to their verbal assault so as it was her turn to cook she refused.
Why did jim not simply suggest he make himself and lionel some food?

It was just an idea.

Kizzy 16-01-2014 11:05 AM

Yeah well it was a very silly idea, and quite divisive.

Everyone saying its just food etc and shes being petty, in an enclosed environment like big brother, the cooking situation and food on the whole is a MASSIVE power, its pretty much one of the only things they think of all day...
Tbh i think it was petty, but Jim should not be reliant on needing Luisa to cook for him anyway and she should not be in the situation where she has to be the cook

That is why he suggested that eh cooked for the boys and her the girls. So she didn't have to do everything herself.

He wasn't reliant in the slightest? in fact he was going to cook for everyone including Luisa but she wasn't having it so then he offered to cook for the boys and she still wasn't having it, so then he said right sod it I will just have some toast to save any hassle and her face was still like fizz.
