Fair play to you chuff for not being making excuses for him. I'm sure many will respect you for that.

Agreed, some people tend to be very stubborn when it comes to supporting their housemates and even if they know they are behaving like arseholes will still pretend they are a fan.

I'm not a Linda fan, but I know right from wrong.

Jim only brought the dressing room incident up as he was asked why Linda hates him so much & offered that as a possible reason! He never mentioned her huband, Linda did that & loved every minute as it gave her a chance to play the victim & get sympathy, pathetic woman :nono:

daniel-lewis-1985 17-01-2014 12:14 PM

I know we are supposed to judge a housemate on their behaviour in the house but hes an exception hes admitted to not being himself.

This is the real Jim.

"In 2006, for the first time in 14 years, he refused to play Great Yarmouth, stating that the resort was "full of overweight people in flip-flops and fat children of all colours and no class"

flamingGalah! 17-01-2014 12:17 PM

He's right though, Great Yarmouth is a sh*t hole :joker:

Good old Jim... :xyxwave:

Lovely man eh?

In September 2007, on celebrity reality TV programme Hell's Kitchen, Brian Dowling mentioned comments made by fellow contestant Jim Davidson about Dowling's homosexuality. Davidson asked Dowling, "Are you on our side?" when referring to whether or not he would be participating for the boys or girls team, mentioned the term "shirt-lifter" in front of him, and repeatedly asked if he'd like to try on one of John Virgo's lovely waistcoats, which Davidson owns. Davidson later described himself as a "homophobic arsehole".

In December 2007, Davidson again courted controversy when he made a joke about rape victims during a show at the Newark Palace Theatre, in Nottinghamshire. A local paper, the Nottingham Evening Post, stated that: "there were moments when he did stray too far over the line (most notably with a routine on rape)."

Yep, lovely man.

Louisa asked why Linda was so angry at him, and Jim said ask her about Frank Carson's dressing room. All that Jim did was answer Louisa's question. I don't really blame Jim for answering the question.

i cant get my head around around the jim backlash

if linda would of conducted her self in the way she did last night
at a place of work which you could argue the BB house is she would of been sacked

and if she spoke to another woman like they on a night out i wouldn't be surprised if she got a slap

He could have yes, but she has goaded him into saying this since they first went into the house, this incident is where her hate for him stems from & it was actually her husband, dead or not, who was in the wrong, not Jim...

I'm sure he DID say ask her why she hates me at first, but when she was going on and on in the background,he said ask her about Frank Carsons dressing room, did she tell the housemates by the way?

Of course she didn't! Too busy milking all the sympathy for evil Jim slagging off her dead husband... :idc:

Patricia4 17-01-2014 01:22 PM

This is all blowing up Jim did not mention her husband she did.

She shouldn't have to though, if it's something which she would rather keep private then that's down to her imo

Slevin 17-01-2014 01:29 PM

some cant read between the lines i guess. mentioning that dressing room bs means her husband since he was involved in that.

Exactly.
If thats what Jim thinks the issue is he could have easily told Luisa & Lee that he had fallen out with Linda's husband years back and thinks thats the problem.

He sent Luisa in to ask about what had happened in the dressing room when the row was over and Linda was in bed.He really is a spiteful knob. Then he didn't even have the balls to admit what he had said and tried to blame Luisa on causing trouble.

I was really trying to give him the benefit of the doubt as a HM but after watching over the 2 weeks he is one of those drunks that drive me mad..making snide remarks and sneering and when asked to back up what he says tries to make out he was joking.

I will however give him credit for not trying to come into the house claiming he is a changed man as he still admits to being a male chauvinist and that if he was to be himself in the house he would have been thrown out

"Probably because of what happened in Frank Carson's dressing room" would be an answer to the question. Telling Luisa to ask her about it is a very calculated move to go for Linda's jugular.

I think it was because he wasn't sure.
