The feat also sees the singer tie Spice Girl Geri Halliwell for the record of most UK #1′s by a female solo artist — ever.

-didnt even know Geri held this record-

It's really grim that Rita Ora is so popular

lily. 18-05-2014 10:19 PM

I love this song. Rita was on the radio 1 chart show tonight. I actually like her. She has a personality, unlike a lot of famous folks these days..

yes well maybe when she bangs someone who isn't gonna hand her an easy #1 i'll like her more :inamood: (but yes this is a tune)

does she

I liked her on Alan Carr ages ago, still think she's a total harpy though. She seems really pretentious in recent interviews.

Jack_ 18-05-2014 11:10 PM

Rita is lovely, funny and seems really down to earth in every interview I've seen of hers. The hatred is irrational IMO

Kizzy 18-05-2014 11:13 PM

She's an industry *****.. Still haven't forgiven her 'no comment' outside radio 1 when they banned Robbie Williams.. :idc:

Jack_ 18-05-2014 11:18 PM

Why would she need to comment on that? She's not George Ergatoudis

And also he wasn't banned, they chose not to playlist Candy (wrong decision IMO but it's irrelevant to this discussion)

Jack_ 18-05-2014 11:20 PM

And I've just searched for this apparent 'no comment' incident and she says nothing of the sort

Seems like a perfectly fair and reasonable response, it doesn't have anything to do with her but she still said she loved Robbie Williams...

What a ****ing ridiculous question for that journalist to be asking

Kizzy 18-05-2014 11:46 PM

Cop out... Popular music should be just that, if you are popular your music should be played I feel as an artist she should support that.
But she is in vogue atm... as in everywhere, can't get away from her and personally she is mediocre at best.

Totally agree :worship:

The weird hatred is just stupid, no reason for it. Fair enough if you don't like her music but it sometimes seems a bit far.
