Nope. Not motivated by race at all!

I say 30% of the hate is racially motivated. There's nothing wrong with disliking the housemate, but some of the names Toya and Pauline are called are quite disturbing to say the least.

How dare you accuse people of being racist for daring to hate such a vile, nasty person.
So what you are saying is that you can't dislike a person if they are black ?.
GROW UP

That happens every year though (sadly)

Hazel was called some awful stuff last year, Caroline the year before, and so on.

Some people just go too far with their insults. Its nothing to do with race

AnnieK 15-06-2014 08:31 PM

How did you reach that statistic? No names are close to racial slurs that I have seen....

I just don't get why race is being brought into it.
I have watched every series of BB & seen horrible white people & horrible black people. It's human nature.
What has race got to do with it ?.
The last thing I think when I see or meet another person is what race are they.
Please let's not make this a race issue.

It's* (No offence, just a pet hate of mine)

I said 30%. It just so happens that you belong in the remaining 70%. You can't speak for everyone.

Do you agree that there is something not right here?

No but i do think you might have underlying race issues for you to jump to the conclusion people don't like Pauline because shes black.

In regards to a housemate never being hated like this before i give you Grace BB7.

Suppose its standard to have a "is it racist" thread though.

That's a beautiful mind you have right there

It's a shame that racism is still a massive issue in the 21st Century, but it is and that's undeniable.

Based on nothing. So basically you ARE accusing others of being racist for disliking a black housemate. Despite the exact same thing happening year after year, with non-black housemates.

Honestly, I would agree with this if anything...

I certainly would put my life on it that some of the hate Pauline is getting is racially motivated.

How do you explain her insane popularity on the first night then? People just forgot they were racist?

A couple of people may possibly dislike her just because she is black..some people are idiots like that. But to say 30% of the forum is just bloody ridiculous to be quite honest.

Bluerang1 15-06-2014 08:40 PM

No no no! Toya yes but not Pauline. Pauline is a horrible human being. Great TV though

I don't know if you recall but on this forum and on digitalspy, whilst a lot of people were supportive of Pauline, there were a lot who had reservations, with many stating comments like; "something a bit iffy about her", "she's going to be nasty".

Funny how these people can predict the future, isn't it?

And this was when she hadn't even done anything :joker:

You said Pauline gave a bad name to black women in another thread. That is racist. Why are you saying one woman is representing an entire race and gender?
