All she did was decide to go against her word and tell people what she'd heard? It's hardly like she murdered his family, I mean someone every year usually shouts something and everyone tells each other. They're paranoid enough as it is and that kind of information going around her head must drive her crazy, I'm not surprised she wanted to tell people. I get that she shouldn't have promised not to tell anyone and then done so but it's hardly that bad...

And with the exception of bullying and discrimination morals go out of the window on a reality TV show/gameshow. It's not real life, it's a constructed and heightened false environment and they're coerced into doing things they wouldn't in real life. The same rules don't apply

She should have been a bit more loyal to him.
Turns out Christopher was going to be more loyal.

I don't think they have a friendship really. Chris has never stuck up for Jale when she was being bullied after all.
Having said that, Chris is still my fave HM by far.

She was still in the wrong people are entitled to go off her because of it. It's so annoying how there's an expectation every year to accept any negative behaviour even if you don't agree with it because it's classed as entertainment.

I just don't get why people care, we're not actually living with them and we're not directly involved in the disputes...just sit back and enjoy them. I mean sure discuss who's in the right and who's wrong, that's the point of forums like these, shows like BOTS etc...that's the kind of discussion I always go on trying to encourage, the point I try to make though is that even though people have their opinions of who's right/wrong it's surely important to step back and be objective and think well I wouldn't be having this discussion if said housemate(s) wasn't around.

It's like when people always want one housemate involved in a feud to leave, Jim VS Linda, Gina VS Sallie, Hazel VS Sallie etc, people taking sides and wanting the other evicted  or even worse if someone has a favourite and then another housemate has an argument with them and so they start hating on that housemate, that's even more baffling to me. You're not them, we aren't living with them so I'll just never get why people care

As I said though even without all of that separate debate, I don't even think what she did was that bad...and actually if anything I'd argue he brought it on himself by carrying on telling her it wasn't him when he should know full well she knows it is. That's just lying for the sake of lying.

..that's true Jordan but we've only really seen a reactionary Jale to her situation of being isolated and I think she handles that well and now that BB have warned Helen and they've all eased off on her a bit, we're seeing more of a balance to Jale and everyone makes mistakes and doesn't always to exactly the 'right' thing..or the right thing as the public perceives it to be...and no one is perfect as we know ..and yeah people are entitled to go off her but it's also a little annoying if that 'going off her' is just because she's showed that she's human...I think there's also an expectation of housemates to be 'perfect' or excusing their flaws so it's good that people can see her flaws which we all have and still like her anyway...

camertone 18-06-2014 06:35 AM

jale thinks if she agrees with the rest of housemates and lash out on chris, she'll be accepted?? jale had no voice and did not speak up for herself. then now all of sudden she can speak up against fellow underdog housemate chris. so much for her friendship..

Ammi 18-06-2014 06:49 AM

..how harsh we all are, I know that's the nature of it all and that we're meant to 'judge' but we've been screaming for a reaction from Jale and then we get one but it's not the one we want so uggh Jale we don't like you now..it is an understandable one though and I think for me this one time forgivable because it's not that uncommon for a 'victim' to want to ingratiate and appease her bullies and become 'part of the group'...I don't think it was the best thing to do but considering some of the behaviour in that house, it really isn't one of the worst things I've seen in there either...

morals
good lord
it's a gameshow and her actions were game-related, it's not even like she personally insulted anyone

How is crapping on a guy that has done nothing to you standing up for herself? So she wants the house to turn on Chris now and leave her alone is that it?

Me. I Am Salman 18-06-2014 07:01 AM

^ they're all gonna be paranoid about who the power housemate is, and living in the BB house will amplify any kind of paranoia to unnatural levels. of course jale wouldn't able to keep it to herself

Niamh. 18-06-2014 09:36 AM

I was disappointed that she did that but she's still one of my favourites............for now
