That may not be necessary - if we look after him properly and we still have Gareth to hand, there's bound to be some angelic healing power from the aura of his white suit.

I think the Robot Kit is an inspired idea
Me too. In fact I may be fighting Paul for said Robot Kit. At the very least I'd like to help. Then I might distract him with a light sabre or something. NOTE TO SELF: swot up on Star Wars Trivia and bring tools (to be kept in tight pockets).

This is going to be an AMAZING, AMAZING outing, and I won't let any D**M come into it. The only possible flaw in the above plans are that Will and Gareth may have to leave early. After all, it might be hard for them to be ON tv at the same time as tending to our personal needs. Let's hope it's pre-recorded.

Sticks 18-02-2002 04:59 PM

Sorry guys, but to reiterate this but I still think you should leave the couple alone so the move can proceed without incident. If you must descend on a certain area of North London, then I would prefer it if you ran interference on the gutter press.

I am required to attend a meeting with a communications company on the date in question, whose name for the moment must be withheld :nono:

I may be getting in touch with a fellow Cyber Warrior, but can not guarantee their availability.

Kaz 18-02-2002 05:34 PM

Flipping heck, Sticks - do you really think I would travel all the way down from the wilds of Scotland just on the off chance of spotting H&P moving into their new house?

You bet your little cotton socks I would!! :elephant:  :elephant:

P.S. WE'RE ONLY HAVING A LAUGH!! :joker: :colour: :joker:

...............................OR ARE WE? Hahahahaaaaaa

Feefs 18-02-2002 05:41 PM

Kaz - Will and Gareth are going to be really upset now. They were really keen and what else are we supposed to do with the Pop Idol battlebus? :dazzler:

Kaz 18-02-2002 05:55 PM

SSSSHHHHHHHHHHH, Feefs - you'll blow my cover.

((Whispers)) Do you think my last post has got Sticks off our case now? OK .....

Fear not, everything is still going to peachy's plan. I'm off to sort out my suitcase, find my passport, and make sure I've got English £10 notes to take with me. :colour:

Sticks 18-02-2002 07:08 PM

I Hear all
I See All
I Know all :nono:

Unfortunately I am busy that day

BTW, My informants tell me that the Pop Idol bus has been repossessed. It's obviously some kind of administrative screw up, which will probably be resolved, but you know how slow these thing go, it could last until say around about Monday

Kaz 18-02-2002 07:13 PM

That's right, Sticks - it's been repossessed by peachy, for us to use on the 23rd!!

 :colour:  :colour:

Sticks 18-02-2002 07:16 PM

You may have the bus, but have you looked to see if the engine is still there ?

susieq 18-02-2002 10:51 PM

Don't worry Sticks - Plan B is already in full swing (and we also have Plans C - Z to fall back on).

There is nothing to stop us in our quest - we have all the angles covered, the supplies are taken care of, enemy agents (Mr M - you know who you are) are under covert surveillance around the clock and Agent Jody is ready to spring into action as and when required.

Job's a doddle guys - get the orange blankets at the ready, it's nearly time to go in - we'll do the synchronise your watches thingy on Friday. http://thisisbigbrother.com/forum/im...ies/thumbs.gif

Maggie 20-02-2002 07:47 PM

Can you just let me know were I'm being picked, so I'm not late, I would hate to miss it , I've recharged the video cambra battery and bought extra tapes to bring with us, action stations :colour:

Maggie 22-02-2002 02:23 AM

We might have a house number, 89 from a post on tbb :elephant::elephant::elephant:, see you all on Saturday

Romantic Old Bird 22-02-2002 07:16 AM

I know, can't believe I missed this info until I skimmed thro' yesterday's Lorraine. I would definitely recognise this house. H getting out of the drivers seat of the blue Audi Quattro (which with Helen's driving record, proves Paul loves her), walking down des res area, beautiful Edwardian town house, bright blue freshly painted front door, all new carpets. Surely they are being a little indiscreet if this is the loveshack?

Two things make me think maybe not.

One, the decor is tasteful/conservative/neutral, which I just don't see with H

Two, Paul said his house would be 'minimalist' with an enormous chrome/white bed. This was a nice modest little brass bedstead number. Unless it was the spare room of course....

I do wonder if it was a short term let. Anyway, all good background info. Shall I post the itinery later?

Mairi 22-02-2002 12:09 PM

I'm packed and ready to go ROB and extremely excited! As my geography leaves a lot to be desired, an itinerary would be really useful so please do.

Sticks 22-02-2002 04:26 PM

It looks like with all the high winds, there are a lot of routes blocked.

Oh well so much for the trip, but thats how it goes

I am going to be stuck in with a meeting with representatives of a telecommunications company.

Romantic Old Bird 22-02-2002 08:00 PM

A few high winds won't stop us! Good grief! Where's your Dunkirk spirit?

OK chaps. chocks away, here's the plan:

ROB's son has 'spookily' passed his minibus test this week, and thinks he is taking us on a trip to the London Eye. He is picking ROB up at 02.00hrs, travelling north west, and Discolady and Miriam are being picked up at 04.00hrs at M6 junction 19., then SE to pick up Peachy at O5.30hrs junction 11. From there the bus will progress to join the MI at junction 19, and on down to the M25, junction 23.

I know there are many others, and anyone not already booked on the VTIBB trip, please bear in mind that room in the minibus is a little tight, but we will try to accomodate you.

Please make sure you are at the South Mimms Harvester Resturant by 0700hrs. GMT, next to the potted palm.

Everybody must wear Glitter, an orange blanket, and bring a packed lunch and a bottle of Cider.

We distribute individual orders at 07.15hrs, and seperate into pairs, each taking a carefully defined area. All sightings must be immediately notified to the leader by mobile, and the code will be 'Lush' for a Helen sighting, 'Phwoar' for a Paul sighting* and 'Bless' for both.

* please note, anyone sighting Paul and not passing on this information to the group will be dealt with severely. Don't be greedy.

We will synchronise watches at 07.30hrs, and then make our way to our individual reconnaisance areas in Hadley Wood. The rendezvouz point is near the entrance to the Golf course, where the minibus will be parked. Telephone check-ins must be made to the minibus every 30 minutes.

When the target is sighted, all members of the group will congregate to discuss how the offensive should be mounted. ROB is willing to form the vanguard, and distract Paul, keeping him occupied in the bus, having lured him inside with a generous helping of Dutch apple cake whilst the remainder of the group befriend Helen.

We will, of course, then make ourselves indispensable to the couple, by helping to unpack and settle down with them in time to watch Will's finest hour on TV.

At 11pm, ROB's baffled and bribed son will be wakened from his kip the back roomto start his marathon return run.

And a good time will have been had by all.

We will not contemplate failure.

chilledbootz 22-02-2002 08:02 PM

So what Sticks!!! There's no way that the wind can stop us! In fact we could cut down on petrol, that bus of Wills will guzzle petrol. I reckon if we stand in the right direction the gales could blow us all the way there:hello:

Maggie 22-02-2002 08:33 PM

Sounds great to me ROB, :elephant: I better get my head down for a few hours kip to be fresh for tomorrows surveiliance, see you at 4 am then

peachy 22-02-2002 08:36 PM

Great arrangements ROB. It's all systems go then everyone. Remember we're on a mission, nothing can stop us from reaching our objectives (not even you Sticks), you're no match against us women. We will prevail. I'll be up at dawn, orange blanket at the ready. Hadley Woods here we come!

BigSister 22-02-2002 09:08 PM

I live in Lancashire so do i come at 4.00 with discolady and miriam

Janette 22-02-2002 09:22 PM

Don't forget me ROB, you'll have to pass through sunny Bury on your way :hello:

I'll bring plenty of cider :joker:

Kaz 22-02-2002 10:48 PM

See you tomorrow, gang! :hello:  :hello:

I'm off for a few hours kip before setting off for Glasgow to catch my shuttle flight down to London. Once I arrive, LEE and I will hot foot it to Hadley Wood to rendezvous with the TIBB minibus and Will's Pop Idol battle bus.

So ..........................

to all my fellow TIBB virtual outing companions - here's to a great day, nothing can go wrong.

and to Gareth, Will and especially Paul, a big  to you all. See you tomorrow! See you tomorrow! :dazzler: :colour::dazzler:

blinkinlovely 22-02-2002 10:59 PM

trip

:elephant:Ok mybag is packed and I have a cheap ticket to ondon but signif other insists that i attend the latest relegation battle of his team ........best of luck pals!!!! give a kiss to paul for me:xyxwave:

susieq 22-02-2002 11:23 PM

Discolady - OK if you and I go down together - same neck of the woods and all that. I'll have Jody with me so hope you like dogs. She's very friendly but has obviously been honed to perfection in the art of tracking enemy agents. I'll be bringing her own orange blanket so she doesn't get cold - bless.

I know the weather's a bit rough but us Northern women are made of strong stuff and it'll take more than a little wind and rain to deter us from our quest - Sticks, you know nothing of the determination of the female sex. We have our goal, our aim is true, our blankets are orange and it's all systems go.

ROB - plan is A1 - perfect. See you tomorrow guys - get some kip, it's going to be a long day, but worth every minute.
