If Rooney went on a reality show to be judged by the public and started making moral judgements about what other people are doing and saying - I suspect that the public would be telling him to get off our screens and stop being hypocritical.

Seriously - Helen could quite easily have just moved on with life I'm sure.

For some reason however, she decided to put herself into the public eye to be judged by the public and to show the public how she judges other people. Her choice.

She is very vocal on what she thinks is right and wrong about how other people behave - so of course people look for inconsistencies and hypocrisy - again things which can be found in all of us.

If Helen was trying to do something good - I dunno - maybe like raise money for some charity or something and seeking publicity for that - then maybe I'd side with leaving her past out of it.

Nobody would expect her to skulk in the shadows, but there is a big difference between that and going on BB - and not only going on it, but going on it during the world cup when she knew the time was right for maximum publicity. :nono:

Maybe she's a great mum usually, but going on BB and behaving how she does in public is not showing consideration or a good example for her son. Would you not agree with that?

I'm usually the very last person to defend Helen but in the case of her child & setting a bad example, I just think that hardly anyone comes out of BB in a good light & maybe she is going on BB to make a better life for her child.
She knows that magazine deals pay a lot of money.
I have to say I think Helen is a really nasty person & like nothing about her.
But in the case of her child I'm sure she is doing all she can. Her past will always catch up with her & that's not a nice feeling for her child.
I just hope the Helen we see on BB is the extreme & not the norm.

I disagree. Going on BB to get magazine deals with her reputation and public behaviour is not making a better life for her son or setting him a good example. Love and consideration for your child is worth a lot more than money. She has a beauty salon, she is earning a living. She is young and healthy and quite capable of working hard at a decent job to support them without capitalizing on her past misdemeanors.
Perhaps she is just fame hungry and greedy?

Also, whilst I don't judge Helen whatsoever with what went on (she's only judged because she's female, I don't see Wayne being scrutinised), I don't buy the whole 'she's doing it for her kid' stuff. My mum is a single parent, and believe me she's struggled, but she always worked her arse off to make sure I was fed and clothed without means of the media. I get that people have different stories and what not but I doubt there was much stopping Helen from gaining money through a normal job or career. She wants fame, nothing wrong with that of course.

I thought she was crying over missing her son... especially when Ashleigh said "you'll see him I three weeks". But no, she's crying not because of Steven, but because she thinks she's going to get booed when she leaves herself, and it's refreshing to see her being right about something.

The BBUK housemate threatened to “punch someone’s ******ing lights out” if she leaves the house to jeers.

Speaking after Steven Goode’s eviction last night, Helen told Mark Byron: “I so underestimated how you felt the week Matthew went.”

Later, Helen broke down again over the eviction result, telling herself: “Oh my God, get a grip!”

She went on to say: “I hate that he’s been quizzing how he’s been feeling, that’s what hurts. I hate the fact he’s sat there questioning his behavior and doubting himself. He’s got no idea what a nice guy he is.”

And Helen, who last week branded the public “b***ards” after voting Biannca Lake out, once again turned on the viewers.

She ranted: “I hate them being horrible.



“I’ve never felt so angry at people that boo people.

“If they ******ing boo me when I get out of here, I’m going to be ******ing jumping in the ******ing crowd punching someone’s ******ing lights out.

“I can’t be doing with it.”

She added to Mark and Ashleigh Coyle: “Do you know what makes me sick? They want to see you not confident.

“What are you doing with your ******ing life? How is that entertaining?”
