It didn't work, but she was the ONLY one to attempt anything to weaken the bully's position.

Yet some people think she was just being sly ....you couldn't make up the lack of awareness

Ashleigh herself laughed at it early on, in fact Ashleigh told Toya, Pauline & Kim that she thought Helen was really funny.

She was at her worst frequently until she got a final warning which soon clipped her sails.
Ashleigh was not part of the cool gang that encouraged Helen and laughed at people. Stop telling porkers.

Really? Funny how she still laughs with Helen even at her own friends expense.

Really fair and valid point.

They are both capable of bad actions, the difference being one is 'more' open and the other sly about it.

neither of them are my favourite housemate, neither of them are in my top 4 out of the 9 left in fact.

Helen has done really bad behaviour in the house as has Ashleigh,I say again it is in the main 6 of one and half a dozen of the other although at times you would think Ashleigh was as sweet and delicate as candy floss and never did a thing out of order as to anyone else.

Why should she not say something to an 18 year old...that was always Helens excuse...she gets called all sorts when she has verbally attacked other housemates with Ashleigh it would have been the same.Helen knows Helen can't argue /discuss/confront in a civilised way...Helen knows she is a goby spiteful person...Helen knows this and we know this because she has loads of warnings (confirmed by the housemates themselves) consequently she has had to control herself. Do you seriously think anyone in the house is an Angel...you wouldn't get on the programme if you were. Ashleigh has always looked in control... Helen hated that and waited for a good reason to attack when she got exposed for plotting.
I like to see people confront a situation...I like to see people stand up for themselves. Helens problem is that she cannot discuss or debate...she shouts people down and gets abusive...then when people try and defend themselves she tells them to shut the **** up....she is her own worst enemy.
She had every right to confront Ashleigh...she needs to learn how to do it properly.

She well may not, if it normal noms that is, whoever is left of Zoe and Pav will likely be one of Helen's noms and possibly Mark will be her other one.

Why are you bringing up Ashleigh's age? If an Ashleigh fan does that they get told her age has nothing to do with anything.
I'd like to see a post where me or the majority of her fans have called her an angel.
Ashleigh's behaviour was against the nasty vile bully of the house and her laughing sidekick. That deserves applause, unless bullies are admired these days?
She has NEVER been a bully herself who goes for nice people unlike Helen, who thinks nice is weak and an easy target.

I actually thought Helen showed great restrain, she wanted to sort it with Ashleigh but she bided her time until a few others had witnessed Ashleigh's behaviour. This not only showed the other HM's that it was not just Helen trying to cause trouble, it showed Ashleigh in a different light to what they thought.

It is a 100% given that if Helen had have had it out with Ashleigh before other HM's saw Ashleigh been nasty her age would have been brought up. Other HM's had already said similar.

So in other words she didn't talk in private to Ashleigh but waited until she had Kim to back her up and all her gang were around as her captive audience.

She didn't expect Mark and Winston to see through her and tell her off for ganging up on Ashleigh.

She did after Ashleigh had shown herself up in fact once BB played the vt's back to those watching. Good point again Ellen.

What Ashleigh was doing was trying to get rid of the vile bully's sidekick as she couldn't get at the bully herself, so yes.

Tip 29-07-2014 06:27 PM

Helen not only says it to people's faces, and says things behind their backs.
She also denies saying things she said behind their backs.

"I didn't say that Steven, I would never say that" (cry cry)etc. etc. etc.

Ashleigh was quite bitchy in some of the gossiping sessions I saw her in.

Nobody is perfect. Some find Helen's behaviour more forgivable, personally I find it really hard to forgive some of what Helen does/did, and easier to forgive Ashleigh.

It takes all sorts, and there is evidently no point in trying to change people's minds about it either way.
