I agree with Marsh, without Helen it is much more probable that Ashleigh would have had no major storyline whatsoever, she would have likely stayed in the background most of the time and gone in one of the weeks she was up.

She has actually also herself had 2 immune weeks to as to being nominated for eviction so she too will have got to the final with help also, and in one of those immune weeks, the all female power week, she could have gone then as it was around the time of her loud boos.

Had Helen not had the free pass,it may well have been she would have been up some weeks but not all, without the free pass the public may have viewed her differently too and possibly not voted her out anyway, depending on who she was up against.

I do think however, the free pass,is what in the main will have been a major effect on Helen not doing any better than 4th or 5th in the final and I expect Ashleigh to come 3rd.
However, I have said it many times,Ashleigh would have had no real storyline of note without her intense dislike of Helen, whereas Helen has had many storylines with different housemates.

By the way Kazanne,as to somehting you said earlier, I cannot in any way imagine you being a b...h at all,if you ever were then I bet it was the better kind however and not the 2 faced type of one that Asheigh has shown herself to be throughout the series overall.

LOL Joey, great post again as for the bitch comment,I am more of a Helen bitch than a two faced one.:thumbs:and agree Ashleigh would have had nothing if Helen hadn't have fed her a back story.

If Ashleighs a Triumph,Helen is a Harley Davidson:hehe:

No matter where she finishes up, I still say,in my opinion, love or hate her, this series has been Helen's series, it would have been near tortureand boring to watch this series had she not been in it.

She has never been in my top 4,I didn't care for her in the first week or so, I hated the free pass.
However while Mark is the one I have laughed at the most, for me Helen, bad and good has been compulsive viewing.

As for Ashleigh, most of the time I would have been to sleep except for a small period of about 2 and half weeks as to her.
Some triumph that.

If Helen was up in week two/three. In all probability she would have gone. She was hated.

bbfan1991 02-08-2014 06:13 PM

She's awesome. A very interesting and flawed person I have enjoyed watching and despite me missing half the series I had already heard bits of what was going on via social media and it seems she has contributed a lot in there, whether people like her or not and if Ashleigh gets to the final or even wins it'll be most deserving IMO because she hasn't sat on the fence or been a people pleaser;).

:clap1: A man after my own heart Joey, although,Helen is definitely in my top 4 now ,although,I disliked her a lot at first,a housemate must have something to be able to do that.

Of course Helen's been able to let herself go... She's been protected from any eviction. Others had to be a little cleverer than that

I can't say I have seen much in the way as to being clever from the others and certainly not from Ashleigh.
I also think as to Helen she was able to let fly at the start, however because of the free pass and BB warning, she is the one who has for the majority of time in the house had to actually reign herself in, far from being able to let herself go at all.

This series has been very average since after week 4, if Helen has 'made the series' then good for her on making it a dire one

She's kept issues she's had about others to herself to help form new alliances. And all of the other HMs recognize she's a clever girl. In particular Chris and Matthew, possibly the two most intelligent HMs.

Yes, but that's another argument against her. She's been guided into being a better person by punishments and had all the time in the world to change perception of her. A lot of people seem to forget the amount of warnings she's had culminating in a final warning.

Ashleigh has support from men who fancy her and women who want to be her. Frankly I think she is horrible.

Carry on though...

she became popular on here after toya left :hehe:
then when marlon pressed the button, she got even more popular
her campaign was MASSSIVE twitter, facebook, bbspy it was trending :)

Daffodil 02-08-2014 07:22 PM

I don't really understand odds, but if this means that Ashleigh is ahead, it won't last. She is far too bitter an individual to stay popular.

sampvt 02-08-2014 07:23 PM

People seem to think that Ashleigh was invited into the house and was a beauty queen because someone knocked on her door and told her you are the most beautiful woman in Derry so we want to crown you......Are you serious, ........Beauty pageants are frequented by fame hungry wanabees and the same girl went to the lengths of applying to go on BB for more coverage. Her mother is notorious on twitter for being pushy and the word from people in Derry that know the family say they are a bunch of fame hungry idiots.

I prefer to look for myself but in the face of the twitter stuff and the reports coming in, coupled with what I am seeing for myself, she holds absolutely no redeeming characteristics for me. I have never seen a lady or nice young girl utter profanities like she does and her bitchiness is well documented so I am afraid that its a done deal that she is just plain nasty and has been found wanting.
