You are picking out one post where I said lead ROLES (plural) as I was talking about more than one production.

It wont take long for you to scroll up and see in our original convo I said female lead in Thriller.

Stop clutching straws.

Seriously going to bed now lol.....I think.

Good night, and sorry. Zoe is average singer. I don't wanna insult her or anything. Maybe 5 years more and she would something really great :)

It's a lead role either way so why the need to be pedantic?

Obviously performing on stage in the west end. You seem to have trouble with your reading comprehension.

Her voice is really good. Love all the petty hatred towards her.

Dollface 09-08-2014 02:15 AM

Everyone has their own opinions. I personally don't like Zoe or her singing, if yous lot do, then.. that's great i guess, i'm sure she'll appreciate your support... even if you work in Tesco. :D

All this talk of rolls is making me hungry. I'm off to get a bacon roll and a coffee!:joker:

Northern Monkey 09-08-2014 07:54 AM

Put her on The Voice now.See how far she gets.Faaar better singers have been rejected on that show.If she hit all those duff notes on there she'd get nowhere.

It wasn't me being pedantic actually, the conversation was on the lines of Zoe took the lead role in the production of Thriller , to which I pointed out how could she take the lead role as it is about Michael Jackson , then it was given that FEMALE lead role was specified when in actual fact it wasn't .

Not as ****E as your spelling.

Shes not a "shyte" singer ffs lol if you saw her on x factor as an unknown you would not be saying ah yeah shes crap.

Never watched as single episode of poX factor - and i thought she was on pop idol - she's still shyte

Tip 09-08-2014 09:50 AM

I'm not a fan of musical theatre type singing - lots of volume and over-exaggeration.

Zoe can do that, no doubt about it - but it's not pop star vocals and it's no wonder she only released one single before being dropped by the record label.

So yeah, she can sing - but I don't like her singing or voice how it currently is. If she could untrain herself and produce something different then fine but otherwise she's really a backing singer/musical theatre/pub type singer.

Marc 09-08-2014 09:52 AM

I hate when people force their singing on others

Raph 09-08-2014 09:59 AM

I actually loved the performance and went to look it up on youtube later, since I liked it so much

MarcusMel 09-08-2014 11:03 AM

She did not have the vocal note range to sing that song!

when she sings in her vocal note range she is a good singer.

She was clearly under stress with the higher notes.

Tip 09-08-2014 11:06 AM

If people are singing with true emotion and feeling, I can tolerate a bit of being "out of tune" or imperfect singing.

If they are singing with all technique to try and portray emotion, it could be perfect but leave me perfectly "cold" and disinterested. Zoe sits in the latter camp currently - not to say she couldn't change it though and get real with her singing if she tried.

The first song was pretty brutal I thought. Second was good though. Its hard to sound good on a cheap ****ty mic/system

She plays FEMALE lead.

Is it that time of the morning where people can only be arsed to read half a post or just pick out bits they can argue back with?.

Read my other posts I have said she took FEMALE lead in Thriller. You are commenting on one post and not reading the whole conversation.

She was billed as "the only female lead" actually.
