Look on the bright side one of the boy bands will go before we end up with the final three.... just so each Judge can have one act each. It's the way the show is fixed by the Judges.

Good point Red

MarkWaldorf 18-11-2006 08:37 PM

Very true.

Very amateurish tonight. Simon kept them in ahead of Robert because he thinks, if they win, he will be able to sell their records to girls.

Siouxsie 18-11-2006 10:41 PM

I thought the dark haired one ruined it for them last night...

I like them but I thought they were awful last night and I thought it was mainly down to the dark haired one..

He has had a chest infection for the last 2 weeks. I'm not sure if he is clear of it yet but that is why he struggled on Saturday.

I like Eton Road but I don't think they had a good song choice. Even Scissors Sisters would struggle to pull that one off live. It needs to be mixed in a recording studio.

Eton Road were badly let down by the sound crew too. They lost the sound from James, the guy who stands 2nd from the right(he was wearing shiny trousers) . David had to switch mikes with him for that big note at the end. To compensate they turned up the volume on other microphones, which sounded dodgy with parts of the vocals missing. Then there were gaps when we should have heard James and the camera people focussed on other people who weren't singing to try and cover for one of the mikes being broken .

It wasn't a great performance from ER but it was made worse by sound problenms. It's a shame . Louis mentioned it on ITV2 and one of the Westlife guys alluded to it but otherwise it was glossed over. X Factor has such a large budget you'd think they could get things like the sound sorted. It isn't the first time something like this has happened to ER. Exactly the same thing happened to them during Abba week when they lost the sound through James's microphone.
